to date, only a handful went to rexxstyling. most find other fiber shops which are nearer to their place n much cheaper.

Airmaster bodykit is made of mixed material, PU+other ingredient. I'm using one now and still lasting. Planning to go for other design soon.

Added on January 31, 2007, 1:38 am

PU material? plus paint?
if yes then its worth it
*
yeah wo ... PU material ... plus paint ... this includes the ducktail spoiler ..(the smaller one looks more like modulo ducktail and not the slightly bigger ones)

and he said the ducktail is PU as well not fibre ... i've seen some ppl in teamcity do theirs at next level customz .. but their ducktail is made of fibre ... was wondering whether PU or fibre better for the ducktail ... i understand that PU is good cuz it wont bend or crack easily ... fibre is cuz easy to paint on? tongue.gif

how to identify whether the guy uses the bodykit is PU or PU+othre ingredient? or i just have to trust him tongue.gif

My AIrmaster kit was installed on April 02, 2005. Like jackie too, my sis once bumped into the side kerb in front of my house..jus scratches, no crack. i can hear the sound of impact from my living hall at that time. no colour fade that i can see off. b4 i sprayed my car, the ori colour was still good. Verdict, its durable!
*
anyone tried ... full impact b4?? ... like one of those bangsar bumps ... go press accelerator and see which body kit better impact resistant ... hahahaha tongue.gif

im joking btw ..

today i whack 150kmh.... maybe can do more but it's end of highway already  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

anyway i seriously dont recommend vkool elite.......
the price is rm1400 (or more)
1. u're getting a good heat rejection
2. but almost no visible light rejection.

apara, darker a bit lar.... it's too bright out there  vmad.gif

i suggest probably vkool elite for the front windscreen and some other vkool tint for the rest. (could be cheaper too)
*
wack 160kmh everytime at nkve ... but i do it very late at nite le when theres no cars ... other times usually just 120-130 ...

cant remember whether i touched 170 onot .. but im sure 165 got touch b4 smile.gif

not sure about vkool but 3m tint is doing well for me smile.gif

hey guys,

i drove up genting a couple of times but never on an auto trans before.

any tips when going up hill ? D, S or L ?

how about going down hill ? can I just put "manual mode" and hit low gear to have engine drag (to avoid using too much brake)

i'm on city vtec, all 4 disc brake donno can tahan or not ?
*
go uphill ... i used both the 'manual' and auto transmission ..

the 'manual' keep on switching oni lo ... the only problem is when 'pek' corner that time .. its abit hard to press the button cuz ur arms will be crossed or something like that ...

thats when i just put to S ... and D ... and S .... and D ... tongue.gif u get what i mean?

go downhill ... so many bumps .. practically cant do anything oso ... i think L is too slow already... jsut switch to 'manual' transmission and press on the 2-3 gear kua smile.gif

no ideas about ya'll.. but i've been doing that so much more often compared to the 7-speed modes.. my friends at the jazz club does the same as well  laugh.gif
*
my thoughts exactly!!! tongue.gif

the 7 speed mode more like for drag racing tongue.gif not that i do any of it ...

more like for straight roads. ... thats what i meant tongue.gif

I dont think it's a good idea to switch D S D S D..... probably shorten the gear box's life

Furthermore i'm not yet biasa with the manual switching yet....

Maybe just put S and try go up...... tongue.gif
*
tongue.gif ... im pretty sure u'll move to D soon ... tell us all about ur experience going up there ya?

when going anyway?

Just back from the 1000km service. Will test my power for next Genting trip.

But my FC doesn't seem to be very good, RM70 only can last slightly more than 400km(2nd refuel).

Usually when(km) will the car fully learn my driving style and optimize the FC level?

But overall still satisfy cause the power is better than my old Plotong!!!
*
ill usually try to drive at least 500km for every full tank
full tank varies from RM70 and above ...

dont la simply rev rev rev tongue.gif haha
