QUOTE(stanh @ Aug 31 2006, 11:34 AM) Add me also 3G IDSI Black 04 Any suggestion to upgrade 16" or 17" Will the FC def a lot compare to this 2? Added. There will be slight difference, but the acceleration power of your car on 17 inches will definitely be poor compared to 15" or 16" QUOTE(nycs82 @ Aug 31 2006, 05:29 PM) But the smallest they have for Eagle F1 is 15" My stock rim is 14" trade-in your stock rims & tires for 15" and top up lo

skimming at RM90 per rim, you're better off using the money to top up for new rims.

RIMS oni ma ... can change later in future 1 Imagine injuring your newly gotten rims... and then you can't just get one to replace it. You gotta get 4! My advice is to stick to ori rims if you are prone to mishaps like me. QUOTE(zenix @ Aug 31 2006, 11:54 PM) Plus ori rims of normal cars don't fetch good price. What normal car??!! QUOTE(Jackie Leong @ Aug 30 2006, 04:07 PM) Yes, it's the ABS activating. Try not to hit the brakes too hard to activate the ABS, although it's pretty easy to activate the ABS. Try braking kau kau when u drive at a certain speed. You'll get "krack krack" sounds and vibrations on your brake pedal. activating ABS? i wonder how... tought only in emergency situations... going back to my hometown tonight.......will pass Jln Bkt Putus, Senawang-Kuala Pilah at around 12am++ tokyo driff time

Yeah, when its brand new straight from the 3S you can probably fetch that price but after that not really. After using for a couple of months it will become dirty with carbon from the brake pads and micro scratches from wind swirls.
Then you bring it in to trade-in sure the mechanic got lotsa excuse to press the price down. Coz not many would want to buy it from them later on unless for those with steel rim and want to upgrade to OEM alloy rim or as a cheap alternative.
However, original 15" rims fetch a good price generally because OEM products are generally of a higher quality and tested more than aftermarket products. Plus the fact that 15" tyres are cheaper but is definately the everyday man's best combination of performance and price.
Well, of course rare rims like Integra Type-R or Subaru WRX STi, without tyres can still fetch over RM2000.
