QUOTE(the_registered @ Feb 22 2007, 03:32 AM) Dude, you spamming here ar? There's no unlock button. That's why I asked this question. Clearly showing that you don't have a CITY just bullsh!tt!ng around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, funny thing is my Jazz got that unlock button where else my City don't Unitron: Thanks a lot. I didn't know it was just that simple to unlock the doors because my previous car has a 'unlock button' at the driver's door. Oh ya, if you haven't tell your friends about it, I strongly suggest you to do it somewhere more contained. I'm afraid that their gut contents will spill out all over the place LOL LOL LOL LOL Also the aircond termostat is in a reverse direction from the Jazz |

QUOTE(ahthien @ Feb 27 2007, 09:38 AM) I don't have a problem going fast with City/Jazz but I'm more concerned about its stopping ability from those speeds QUOTE(Gouki @ Feb 27 2007, 10:20 AM) Well, as far as i know, the CVT in City/Jazz dont come with any torque converter, they come with viscous clutch plate instead. The only CVT from Honda that come with lock-up torque converter that i know of is Oddysey due to it's more powerful and torquey K24A. Jazz/City is an efficient design thats why it has less power loss compared to other cars, for example the steering is electrical instead of using power from the engine.City/Jazz suffer power loss more than conventional auto? Compare to what car? Vios? Stock to stock basis? Same dyno machine and person from the same shop? As far as i know, most of my Jazz member get the figure of about 80 ponnies on wheel under stock condition or maybe slightly more with some minor modification. That figure is kinda good when manual 1.6 Neo is also about 80+ ponnies on wheel. I would say our CVT power loss is quite good. But pls bare in mind, a 80 ponnies ride with CVT can give even a 80 ponnies manual some tough time due to it's characteristic Going up Genting or roads with gradient a CVT car will always have an advantage. Can even pwn some 2.0 Perdana's |

Same goes to Camry 2.4, Altis 1.8, Sentra 1.8 and etc. Those cars if you're talking about pickup from traffic light of course lah but highway abit difficutl when they already rolling Somemore mine is 1.3 i-dsi Jazz not 1.5 vtec city Civic #7 1.7 no problem. Civic #6 1.6 don't play play QUOTE(Gouki @ Feb 27 2007, 12:49 PM) Dont talk about the old Sentra Super Saloon lar. Those are really good cars. The current Sentra is crap. I go Thailand recently saw all the newest Nissan and Mazda models, cun cun. Here? Still using old generation model |

QUOTE(unitron @ Mar 6 2007, 08:41 AM) transplant to a K20A (like those engine used by 2.0L Civic and Accord). With proper tuning it should produce about 220 hp. More then enough for a City. honda doesn't have many engine options nowadays However I heard the car is too dangerous to drive with it, since the chassis was never designed to use a 2.0L engine. |

QUOTE(khazz @ Mar 11 2007, 12:22 AM) Have anyone seen this model on road? At first I thought it was the Honda Edix but it looks too much like the 7th gen Civic. What model is it? Its a bit like stream I think but smaller size... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(Jackie Leong @ Mar 11 2007, 03:01 PM) That looks very much like the Civic EP3, but the difference is that the EP3 would be a 2-door hatchback. Haven't seen a 4-door one before though. EP3 is TypeR, most TypeR are 2-doors.QUOTE(mydelsol @ Mar 12 2007, 09:20 AM) This is a Civic 1.7 sold in Australia & New Zealand... Correct here there are a few, but guess students who brought it in after studies, would be nice to actually see Honda Msia bring this in, but sadly they wont as its about 5 years old liow.... The current Civic hatch would be the European model if i am not mistaken |

Leave it at D or S.
You can smoke most cars going up without much effort. Although there are some Proton Rempits who off aircond and rev like mad to beat you |

Yeap, coz everyone elses engine revving up and down changing gears like mad.
CVT will effortlessly take you 3-4k rpm at 60kmh all the way up |
