and some total semi synthetic from lazada tesco for RM82, including shipping after coupon.

my oil arrived.
on lazada they're known as dreamcast gallery.
the mailing address leads back to Amparts Auto Supplies Sdn Bhd.
their facebook page announced that they're a distributor to aisin products, which i can't confirm.

about the product i received.
the label said it's made in malaysia, with additional bahasa malaysia, so this is the local version.
the plastic tab for the cap is intact and no sign of tampering.
there is a toyota foil seal and looks factory sealed. not shoddily glued or anything.
the oil viscosity is comparable to honda 0w-20.
i didn't sniff the oil.
i haven't tested the oil.
it looks legit to me.

there is a difference in fuel mileage when i used honda 10w-30 semi synthetic and honda 0w-20, so we'll see if this is up to par.

mobil 1 FS 0w-40 is available for RM60.

i just bought total 7000 and mobil 2000 semi synthetic. 2 each. for RM96 after coupon including shipping.
haha. that's like buy 1 and get 3 free.
i settled for s/s as my family shitboxes are burning oil anyway.

i don't what's the deal, whether it was a computer mistake?
if this was amazon they would just cancel the order.
i took my chances knowing i'll get my money back if anything happens.
if you go to aeon, they will honour the lower price if any mistake happens. i don't know about tesco.

is it red from coolant dye or red from rust?
if coolant you can top it off with water.
if rust, just flush it all out and get new coolant. get green so it's easier to tell.

Why are you getting your hopes up?
It's just business.
if they send it, fine.
No big deal.
Didn't get any email, just payment verified email.


For the radiator, distilled water is recommended because the lack of mineral.
Tap water especially if you don't filter it will have rust.
Changed my main water filter yesterday, it's all red now.
The water line is 40 years old where I live.
