Not sure.
But it has got api sL so should be fine i guess.

I see the rating for diesel is CI-4 means its HDEO. Good for your engine. Because mostly EO rated at CF for diesel.

Agreed with you.

Previously used Duron-E XL 15W40 (first picture),
About 2 months ago changed to Duron XL 0W30 (second picture), more responsive throttle , more efficient FC from 9.51 km/L increased to 9.94 km/L (100% City drive).
I drive a Nissan AD Resort 1.6L (Manual).

Guys, I’m driving a 10 year old Nissan Sentra XHL 1.8

Daily driving around 120km (highway) with average speed of 130-140

Any engine oil recommendations for better fuel consumption?
*
Using Sentra too but 1.6 engine.

Currently using Total Ineo MC3 5W-40, previously Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40. Run smoothly without any issue.

Engine oil most expensive material is the viscosity modifier. It cost few times more than the base oil. However base oil makes up nearly 90% of the eo.
Most eo in Malaysia, including SHEL MALAYSIA using cheap viscosity modifier aka olefin copolymer (OCP) based, more premium german brands are using Poly Akly Methacrylate (PAMA) based viscosity modifier. Result? better fuel economy and shear stability. Experienced it myself. I tinker with the formulations on my work.

PAMA is 2-3 times more expensive than OCP based, which results in several fold more expensive compared to base oil. Base oil prices very much fluctuate according to the availability and the major player's control.

can we differentiate based on appearance and smell?

Hi guys, I m a noob in EO. I am planning on changing my Axia EO to Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40, will it overkill or suit for Axia? My last EO change using NASA VR28 5W30 , and feel heavy and under power, thus looking for a better grade EO for my little Axia

Any recommended EO is welcome!

Thanks!
*
just stick to 0W-20 to feel lighter engine.
