anyways quick question... have you abused your oil, run it twice as long, n tested it ok?

i don't generally run long OCI since i only got 1 car and its reliability is on high priority.

that said however, my oils do frequently see 100-120c oil temps, and they have peaked 130-140+ Celsius before.
and, longest i've had a sample, Penrite, was about 1.5 years?
It Was from Nov 2020 to Mar 2021, then the sample was kept in room until Feb 2022

long oci... sometimes i forget so ended up 2x or many x longer... lol... so just curious since you frequently send your oil for testing, if you have any type of degradation learnings to share...

if you track often, then higher viscosity maybe required so that at high elevated temp the eo is at the proper viscosity for the engine... but your oil analysis probably will show you any issues to be aware of...
