QUOTE(SleeplessEyes @ Jan 19 2022, 10:26 AM) Me. This is my 2nd oil change with MIZU for my Axia . Bought previously 4L for RM 60 in 2020 now gone up to Rm 69.90. Since I have left over , I bought 2 bottles of 1L , each only RM 19.10 , plus order from them Oil filter, RM 8.80. And I've done - guilty as charged - 14,169KM mileage. 1 year and 5 months I recommend using this oil, but I dont recommend pushing beyond 10K . No oil consumption. Mizu themselves recommended 10k km or 6 months interval for oil change.. Better dont do this often. Quite sure there is more wear in your engine than if using it according to their recommendations. Engines are quite tough. Effects won't be immediate unless the engine oil become sludge.

QUOTE(Max @ Mar 21 2022, 10:27 AM) that might be the cause of low reading. using sandwich plate, it will measure before oil pump. try relocate the sensor after pump.. T behind block or at front of engine head (if there is oil line port there, some campro head does have it, block off with hex nut) Ori or thai sensor? My thai defi pressure sensor giving false readings all over the place. Sometimes max, sometimes mid when idling, sometimes low pressure, sometimes no pressure. Only the water temp and oil temp reliable.

QUOTE(Max @ Mar 21 2022, 10:27 PM) Or course la... Thai . 🤣 Btw, my press sensor is small type, not the big yellow type. Currently the pressure seems reliable.. But the temp sensor not reliable. I have replaced both the oil and water temp sensor.. and lately the water temp sensor is going hanky panky.. Yeah got a few issues with thai sensor. My press sensor also small type. I bought two thai replacement press sensor but both after installation giving constant 0.2-0.3 readings only. So use back the old one since got reading, since if too low reading the alarm will go off lol Thinking of just disconnecting my oil pressure sensor and leave it OPEN status.

QUOTE(MadKat @ Jul 21 2022, 02:09 PM) Not leaking as no oil drip. My previous oil change gave me a shock when the dirty oil left approx 1.x litre only out of 4L. Would consider taking the car for top half engine fix. (semi overhaul? lol) I'm driving Teana J32 2013. How is your engine oil change practices? Long intervals? Using genuine reputable engine oil? If overdue engine oil service, always city ride and/or using recycle engine oils, it could probably be stuck piston oil rings.

QUOTE(MadKat @ Aug 5 2022, 11:28 AM) Change every 8000km. City + Expressway Drive I don't think is recycle engine oils....how to know? 8000km is fully synthetic? Also to reach 8000km takes how long? Buy from reputable sellers or petrol stations or tesco/giant to minimise risk of getting fake or recycle engine oil.

QUOTE(MadKat @ Aug 5 2022, 12:55 PM) Semi syntetic. Is actually between 7000 - 8000km per change cycle. Usually around 3 months only per cycle. Only 3 months to reach 7-8k mileage. I assumed most of these mileage are on the highway. If so then its ok, although for me it is the limit even if using reputable brands. Your practice should be no problem if the oil is genuine. May i know what engine oil and where do you it? Also the price.

QUOTE(The Hunt Begins @ Nov 3 2022, 01:57 PM) Hey guys, I realize my Oil Pressure is abit low lately. I have both Temp and Press gauges. When my Temp climbs up to 87-90c, Pressure drops to around 10psi. My gauge has a warning light that comes on if the pressure hits 10 and below psi. So yeah needless to say, the light keeps coming on. Should I be worried? Is this Pressure normal? Car is a normal Campro and currently on 0w40 Mobil 1 FS. It's abnormal. Better get it checked. Low oil pressure is very dangerous, not enough oil getting to moving parts = fast engine wear. Very fast. If unlucky suddenly no oil pressure for few seconds to a certain critical part = bye bye engine. Are your oil filter ori? Done any gasket jobs on the engine, oil pan etc? Excessive gasket fillers might clogged the oil pickup nozzle. Open up oil pan and check.

QUOTE(The Hunt Begins @ Nov 29 2022, 12:07 PM) Holy I havent visited this thread in a while. But a lil update, had it checked turns out my gauge was reading wrong hahaha. Had me a heart attack. Ori filter, had it serviced in proton itself, no gasket job afaik or any top or bottom end jobs. Engine is currently running rather happily on SHU I bought off Lotus with lesser noise to report. Thats good. Best case scenario for u

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 16 2024, 09:59 PM) I'm using SynPower Eco 0w20 from local distributor, no need import. Less than 40 per liters. Need a carton of 6 bottles / 6 liters per order. Ah ok. I thought you are importing oils yourself.
