Do let us know if you manage to replace it  smile.gif

Haha I remembered that I've owned an Xperia S once which have built in battery but actually it is replaceable. Looking at the back of Z7max, it seems possible.

Wait until warranty over.

Official Z7 max 3.08 review

1. It's 5.0 (sadly)
2. I think 2.13 UI is much prettier than 3.08
3. I installed Gapps nad in Setting > Account > Only Nubia login ? No Facebook, Whatssup. I may have problem setting account to sync
4. Camera have nice functions
5. At earlier stage, I had trouble installing TWRP a little bit due to path setting.
6. The Data shortcut in the dropdown, you can accidentally enabled data on the second SIM. In Kitkat you can set only one SIM for DATA.
7. Scored 43000++ in Antutu
8. My Real Racing game still have bluetooth audio stutter (I thought it was KitKat BT bug) not I think its the game to blame.

Haven't tried:

1. IR Blaster
2. OTG with NTFS

Will try CM12 L5.1 later on.

More later.

Good to know bro. I am already sour with Nubia UI. Features are there, but they are still lacking. At this stage i prefer CM more. Only need to have IR app for me to test on CM12.1
*
I am only 2 hours with it... not impressed. Gonna try CM12.1 , its been months I didn't use CM.

I looooooooove the new nubia camera app but no sex with nubia lollipop tonite shakehead.gif

I believe you are going to loveeeeee CM12.1, since the Chinese devs decided to port the Nubia camera into the Cm12.1 as the default camera app. I was quite shocked to see the camera app myself, and good lord, the image quality is soo syiok!
*
haha was lots of your comment in needrom cool2.gif so syiokkk can try

When I flashed 2.13 with nubia tool, I forgot to take out the sdcard and my SIMs. Luckily nothing happened. I got lots of precious data in my 64GB sdcard sweat.gif .

I've updated to the

1. latest ROM 3.08 (3 hours)
2. CM12 Android L 5.1 (20 hours) <--- very nice ROM!
3. managed to get back to KitKat 1.64 and re-flash 2.13 Lollipop.

Since (3) can be done, I am pretty happy of how easy it was.

Will do brief review later.

I never had any bootloops. I straight away enable root access after the initial setup is completed. My CM12.1 works just fine.
*
Yeah very strange.

I installed all other non-Google apps just now and it successfully boot except for Google Play and GMS.

I need to check one-by-one which app cause trouble.

My list of google apps:

- Google admin
- Calendar
- Chrome
- Docs/Sheets/Slides
- Drive
- Keep
- Gmail
- TTS
- Hangout
- Maps
- My Tracks
- Streetview
- Talkback
- Youtiup

rclxub.gif

----

OK I started from below of the list.

Google Admin causing the boot loop. I am using it because I have paid Google service.

I should have started from the above vmad.gif vmad.gif

Now wut the heck is a google admin does anyways? Never heard of one before ... And besides, you'll be better off with a gappa pico, lightweight and faster to install. Whatever google apps u want later, can always quickly install it from play store ...
*
Google Admin is the app for Domain administrators. Still works using chrome browser.

I gonna try that camera. Thanks.

As far as today, I found out the Android 5.1 rom is indeed very stable.

I am sticking to it because:
1. USB OTG supports NTFS, exFAT, FAT32 natively!
2. More options of USB connection (i think 1.64 still the fastest)
3. Battery OK, almost like 1.64 more or less.
4. Toggle better than rom 3.08
5. Switching data connection better than 3.08.

Just few little bug like:
- when I plug OTG drive, battery icon switched to charging
- perhaps driver have more room for development for its hardware
- no IRblaster
- can't install TM HyppTV app.
- perhaps trouble to call or message using second SIM

I've tested the camera ... so nice! Brilliant share!

do u think this camera or the v2.13 camera nicer?
*
2.13/3.08 stock camera is the best. I have more option like pro.

The camera that you gave a lot nicer than Camera FV and default camera on Android L. It have a smoother photo and do not produce lots of noise.

I wish all of the time the stock Nubia camera can run on CM12.

i found another alternative camera app, ZTE camera, u may give it a try and see what u have to say about it

web: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1pJE5ffH pass: glvk

It can't co-exist with the android camera due to same name.

It works after i uninstall and copy manually into /system/app/camera/

not very much different in term of options but i think lesser noise. Almost like Meizu camera.

In the Auto mode, got panorama, document and some photo modes. Better than Stock android. Gonna keep this. Time lapse also got!

I am using CM12.1

I've tried the Oppo camera.
- The plugins does not work.
- Manual shutter does not work
- High frame rate does not work
- You may get very small image saved

The CameraNext mod is better, but not all functions work.

4K video should work for both of the above (if you need 'em)

The ZTE camera you shared (web: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1pJE5ffH pass: glvk) is still the best so far. Sharp + low noise. whistling.gif

Transfer only 500kbps - 1.5MBps ... can't transfer my gigabyte files.

I am back to 3.08... wanna play with the camera a while - got assignment

Bro, how can you so easily transfer between Rom? Every time I also need to spend a lot of time on restoring.
*
The advanced tool which provided for restoring 1.64 if you have repartition for Lollipop roms can be used to flash 2.13 without using nubia NX505J Updater.

No need requirement for 1.64.

I keep one TWRP backup for stock Lollipop rom for the tool to work... ( no detect if use CM11/12).

Got fast 64gb samsung pro 90mbps microsd for backup smile.gif

I am now camping with 2.13... take some app from 3.08.

Yes Sir, that is correct. I replace only NeoVision camera.
