Server transfer.

Hi Guys,

I'm currently on the free trial period and have gotten my character up to level 10. Unfortunately at the time of character creation tonberry server was full. I had to join Unicorn server and i'm having trouble communicating with other players (cause language barriers).

I am very interested to start subbing this game (at least for one month) to get the full experience since there's a lot of limitations for the trial account im on.

I have a few questions:-

1. I assume Tonberry server has a very high population, but does it stay full all the time? is there a specific time of the day on when i should create a character and choose the server?

2. What are the other alternative servers where the players speak english?

3. I've looked around and saw that there are multiple ways to buy and sub the game. Currently whats the most preferred and easy way to purchase and continue subscribing the game?

4. Have anyone actually tried purchasing and subbing the game through steam?

5. When i registered for a trial account, i registered my country of origin as Australia instead of UK. Will i be able to change this later when i start purchasing the game? or would i need to register a new account?

1. Nope. it's open early in the morning like 4-6am iinm. The rest of the day, it's closed.

2. Masamune for JP servers and the EU/NA servers.

3. Everyone's different. Mine is crysta. but it's not available to all region so yours might differ.

4. I pre-ordered the game so not sure. I don't think you can sub the game thru steam as you need to go thru mogstation to pay for the sub.

5. Not sure. I don't think you can change it unless you re-register your account and register your game to the new account. Also, your region will affect what sub method is available to you (refer to no.3). Try checking SE Account Management FAQs for more information.

thanks for the tips. I've purchased FFXIV (eu) and got myself in Tonberry this morning (created character around 7ish am).

Cant wait to start leveling!

Hi there, i would like to have a free trial, if it suite my taste, probably will buy it.

I hear if i get recruited by somebody, both of the party can get some gift upon I transfer to regular service, can someone explain to me how it work?

that monthly subscription stop me from getting it, is not like I might always play it daily, unless I get a group, then that is different story.

after testing the trial, nice character selection, so pretty,cool, HD !!
waste a lot of time at there already.

but about gameplay, in-game guide is not that good,
Town - I didnt get the "AWEEEE" kind of feel while I am in town,

fighting system, a lot keep saying is only best after you reach certain level, at first it is as boring as it is since you are just repeating a few skill.

But cant deny, Nice in-game scene, cinematic story ! , random field boss event ! (non-stop),

Maybe bcoz it is free trial, didnt feel super duper exciting about the game so far

As I said in another thread, this free login thing does disservice to the game.
The game only opens up more as you progress through the main story, and even more AFTER you beaten it.

And the game cutscenes rarely being voiced really makes the game a little "quiet".

Same feeling! The game is pretty awesome but I am hesitating because of the subscription thing

let me soften it for u.. try think of it this way. roughly RM45 per month , thats like RM1.50 per day, is like one teh o ais per day. so cut down on teh o ais and play FF14 ARR lol

Bro , if u buying game card min hv to buy 60days , only online payment (by credit or debit card can go for 30 days),

can anyone reconfirm that debit/credit card can be used to purchase stuff from mogstation? i tried it, not working
