Let's try to minimize or zero the unsatisfaction among us.

should be fair and follow rules:
1. if DC, can wait for a while..
2. if late, better not join.. (for me, if late for 15 or 30 mins, i will not join race or qualifying..)

yes, I agree with PRINZE...if DC, connection problem..wanna restart PC...all can wait for the racer. Only if the person is late...better not join. Adrian did inform ryugan through hamachi that he had arrived just before he started the game. Therefore I think G1 could have waited for Adrian a little longer. But since PRINZE had to go out at 12am...I guess Adrian was just out of luck. Can't blame anyone in this incident.

testing with xbox360 controller... quite accurate to steer the car... can reduce car oversteer and spun by controlling the accleration accurately...

but bad tat not vibration and the analog stick can return back to 100% center position when i "neutral" it...

still struggling with GTR2 without any aid...

GTR2 without aids would be impossible.
At 1st gear you need to slowly push the throttle.
since you're using buttons...how to do it slowly?
Pedals easier.

did you not see Redline's comments in the GTR2 thread? He was using X360 controller in the last race and he's still faster than you guys (with MOMO)
this shows that X360 controller can be used for games without aid. You just need to get used to it.
Raikkonen, to understand how the X360 controller works...go to a gaming shop and try. Gkl83 already posted a picture and explained how it works.

got 2 ways... shoulder button or using the 2 analog stick there...
i will show u when u come to practice with me... even can steer the car very accurate... but i still cant drive F1 car without aid or low aid (traction control, stability), spun like hell...

but problem is the analog cant "neutral" 100%, even my finger not touching the stick, my car still steer to right side 2-5%... now my finger have to placed on stick all the time...

perhaps u can go to djin new shop... there have 4 units xbox to be test and they desperate u to try it...

gkl, have you tried the 360 in GTR2?
Try it and let us know.

I would never gave up my wheel.
Will get G25 one day.
All aids OFF...manual clutch.

tried on GTR2... can use shoulder button or analog stick to throttle car slowly...
the things i need to do is familiar with gamepad now... i didnt use any gamepad b4...

I never tried keyboard.
At 1st I use a gamepad (clone gamepad but same shape and function a a PS2 controller) to play F1C since I've played Gran Turismo 4 on PS2.
So easy using the analog for cornering.

In F1C, seems so difficult to line up the car in a straight line...unstable.
Also in a hairpin.
Then, other race enthusiast says "...don't stress yourself, get a wheel..."

Try Hockenheim la or any other tracks that we're familiar with the fastesrt lap.
I think fast times were 1:08-1:10.

Nurburgring i don't recall.

Try Monaco

cant lah... tat track either is 100% throttle or 100% brake... i dont think 50% will useful at Monaco...
but for sure this xbox controller or wheel will useful for those tricky fast cornering or slow cornering...

pssst...increase (or is it decrease ) the digitial setup in F1C.

i knew loh... about the cornering at monaco, i think 50% throttle or 50% brake or 50% steering wont help much to gain the shorter time...
