ohh since this phone is quite new. i dont mind reflashing back.

can u give me the step by step of this method:

CODE
EDIT: Here is easier guide to jump from ColorOS to CM11S
1. Download first ROM from https://cyngn.com/products/oneplusone/
2. Reboot phone to recovery (power on + volume down together) choose update , choose new ROM , install , reboot , again in recovery , flush data, flush all , reboot and voilà. No PC needed, 5 min work. Thanks to @iamxray

since i already rooted and installed TWRP recovery, i already dont need to re-do that step.

now, this is what i am confused, i saved the cm-11.0XNPH25Rxxxxxx.zip in the device. then? what should i do? unzip it in the device?
*
Go to recovery and install (flash) zip there.

Yeah.. I'm trying. But some steps i don't really understand.
I'm stupid in IT too.

No one is "pro" in this. All start from the beginning, so don't say/tell yourself that smile.gif

please bear with me, im new to all this, when u say go to recovery, that meant the TWRP recovery? or the fastboot?
*
TWRP recovery. From there, you tap install zip > navigate to where you put the .zip file > select the zip file and install.

before that i need to make sure i untick the Update CM Recovery in Developers Option right?
*
You don't need to do that. You can do that after also can.

Enter recovery: turn/power off the phone. Hold volume down + power. Then same as my previous post ( select "install zip from sdcard > ......)

better to do that... else you may lose TWRP and end up with original recovery. then have to flash TWRP again.

so... yes, untick that. then shut down phone. then bott into recovery/TWRP by using the button combo you mentioned just now.

note: there's a difference between button up and button down ya? both gives you different results.
*
Yes.
Volume up + power = fastboot mode
Volume down + power = recovery mode

yea, i just did that. using twrp recovery to factory reset my phone.
*
Why do you want to factory reset it?
If you want to wipe clean the phone and install new rom, you can wipe /data at twrp (this will not wipe your sdcard), optional to wipe /system since if you flash a rom.zip it wipes system automatically, cache and dalvik.

Hi all ,

2 more questions that I found just now.

1) How to printscreen? tongue.gif

2) WHenever I finished a call, hard for me to click the End call button as the Quick setting panels will always be pull down. Have to close the quick panel then only can End the call. (Anyone facing this?)
*
1. Hold vol down + Power button
2. Don't have my set yet, but I touch touch my friend's before, and nope for his phone.

Yeap i tried. But too technical for me..
So any bro can help me to solve my problem?
We go have a drink..😁

I would suggest you at least start learn/read more about adb/fastboot/all those jargons whenever you got the time. Would be a plus as well if there's someone there to guide you while you learn//or someone doing it and you observe and learn.

just tried out greenify.

basically it put my twitter apps into hibernation. if i hibernate my twitter apps, i guess it means it won't check for updates and i'll need to manually launch it?

hmm... isn't that just fancy word for 'force stop'? smile.gif
*
Greenify (app) basically stops the selected app background service/process.
And yes, you won't get notifications. However, you can get the donation package + xposed to get notification//GCM push of greenified apps.

One of the must have apps for rooted phones.

first time with Android...

Ah, first experience with stock "near-vanilla" Android (not skinned manufacturer skin). This will definitely open your eyes to the smoothness and lag-free Android experience (unlike people who keep saying Android is laggy and all they every used are manufacturer UIX) biggrin.gif

They better fix this issue quick coz I'm all too reliant on Chrome. *sweat*

Btw, anyone here uses their mi power bank to recharge their OPO? I find it charges my OPO super fast and do you think it's ok for the battery? Coz I think it charges my OPO way faster than the 2.1a wall charger.
*
The battery will only take the max mah it's limited to.

Either your phone suddenly gets too hot or battery goes low/0%.
What happened when you power on after that?

batt was high, ard 80% so it cudnt be low batt. After that, i turn it back on, and its alright. Right after that, it has persistent prompt for update to 25R, unlike the day before
*
hmm.gif Tbh, without logs, I can't really tell what happened. But if you say it's fine then ok. Then try to update to the latest and test smile.gif
