any tips to preserve those silver plating especially those near the side windows?
I see many cars silver plating start to fade and turn harsh after exposure under the sun for long period of times. My friend suggest me to just wipe it with those toilet silver protection sweat.gif

Mazda price is always slightly higher than the rest. The New Mazda 3 is an example. Who would wanna pay Rm138k if I can get a Civic 2.0 for Rm129k but yet there are consumers out there willing to pay that sum of money to buy the New Mazda 3.

My friends used to tell me that there are many options out in the market for 100k budget (VW, Ford, Honda, Toyota etc) but after test drove most of the brands except Koreans, none of it have the same feeling as driving the Mazda 3. The cornering feel wub.gif
Both blue color is nice. I would go for red, black, blue, grey. White is good but too mainstream with other cars offering the same options...

Yeah it has a very solid platform, handling is very sweet. Mazda engine is very fuel efficient as well, just they need to tune the gearbox to be more aggressive, it is way too slow for it to respone

I think for the I-Stop, it will reactivate if u're on air-con, maybe because it drain more energy?
I tested with air-con off and it last about 2mins, when air con is on, the i-stop only last around 50-55sec.

u might wanna read this
http://www.topgear.com/uk/mazda/mazda3/road-test/i-stop

QUOTE
If you want to run the aircon or wipers or de-misters, it’ll only switch off for a few seconds or sometimes not at all. Despite having a second battery to run the starter motor, i-stop is reluctant to do its thing unless you switch everything off. We tested the car in 25° heat, selecting a 20° cabin temp, and it could only manage about four seconds before calling on the engine again. That’s not good enough in less-than-strenuous conditions, but it’s a problem we’ve experienced with other makes of car.

Btw u can do ur 1st service already, doesn't need to wait til 1k

50-55 sec is ok already mine more less 20 sec. its getting annoying at traffic light. engine start while there still quite sometime to go green.

n ya plan to go ahead n call next week.

aiks so fast reply already lol
read this it might helps
imo, i rather full blast the temperature control on the left to disable the i-stop, because if it constantly stop and start the engine within a minute long, i don't think it will help and furthermore stress the engine in long run. The downside, i can't off my air-con because even with full blast temperature control, if u off the aircon, the i stop function activate again, unless i switch i-stop off completely by pressing that button each time i start rolling mad.gif

Possible need to change absorber. I drove with that sound for almost 2 years and at last the oil leaked out sweat.gif
