I think our squad are much more balance compare to last three season.
however we are still not good enough in the pivot strength and fw firepower if compare with city.
Our england contingent needed to be rebuild.
last time we have lampard, cole and terry lead the england contingent.
now we left only terry and cahill which is kind of sad.
Hopefully baker, swiff, bamford able to step up.
perhaps having another senior in england contingent wont be bad shawcross for example.

Strongly agree on all points.
It's hard to buy England players for a decent price. Need to lure those going out of contract and likely to get relegated. If not sure we couldn't have gotten Cahill for 7 mil (6 months remaining on contract). Also need to get those good honest ones, like Cahill, Shawcross, Milner etc which are rare.

We got Nathaniel Chalobah which is England u-21 international iinm. I expect him to step up like Terry did after he completed his loan move in 4 months time.

Well. We better play England players from our youth. Like Chalobah, Swift, Loftus Cheek. Coz now England players are overrated and overprice. just look at Shaw, Lallana.

Yes playing youth is good but we need some senior on the england contingent to lead the lines.
Not necessarily we go for big names.
Lallana and shaw pretty hype up by the media.
The same for barkley and stone.
I think there would still some cheap one available.
shawcross and milner for example.

shawcross is gooding. can be a successor for JT. natural leader summore.

Shawcross is good. Stayed in Stoke for quite some time dy. Captain sumore. It would not be cheap to price him away from Stoke.

I also rate Aston Villa's Ciaran Clark and Nathan Baker quite high too. But I think Clark is Irish. Baker also not bad. Both of them playing quite a lot of match for Villa last season. Maybe after 1 or 2 more season we can get them.
