I also received the free tng tesco clubcard today.
And its definitely free reload fee only this clubcard.

The real question is, can we use amex  to top up on weekend?
Need to try tomorrow.

how's your finding whether they accept amex for tng reload?

cklimm reported that tesco kepong accept cc for tng reload. i assume amex should be included.

Well, I don't think anyone would want to reload only RM 10 with credit card. laugh.gif

Even with cash, who want to reload such small amount? I think most reload merchants (except official TNG) minimum reload is RM50.

from my own experience,

for tesco kajang and carrefour (aeon big) bandar tun hussein onn,
to purchase TnG mobile reload, u need to go to cust service counter, not normal payment counter / cashier
(but certain payment counter do have mobile reload machine and can combined with your shopping trolley items).

at the cust service counter, the terminal only accept visa/master. coz not using same terminal as at normal payment counter.

so maybe, thats why tesco didnt accept amex for TnG notworthy.gif

but why bother for amex, u can use hlb wise 10% everyday (if u choose groceries) brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

added: same case as jaya grocer, the TnG reload counter is separated from normal payment counter. the merchant is maybank so supposedly no issue with amex. i never try amex at jaya grocer there coz using hlb wise.

for TnG hub, credit card only for reload of rm100 and above notworthy.gif

reload there only during credit card promotion, example ambank 20% cashback.
i did received rm30 last time when reload rm150 at TnG hub bangsar south before icon_rolleyes.gif

actually the customer service counter staff can just walk to the nearby payment cashier counter to swipe, not necessarily must do it at their own comfort place. tongue.gif

usually i will ask them to do that if they said can't use cc or terminal rosak at cs counter. lol... laugh.gif

actually it doesn't matter because they will go to the counter (which is closed) and just used the terminal to swipe only. laugh.gif
