QUOTE(laymank @ Mar 31 2015, 10:17 AM) You mean there is no need for an 'offline' balance on the card? Unless they upgrade the cards (means every TnG user change new card), the card balance is always stored in the card offline. Even when you make payment at tolls, that transaction is not sent to TnG HQ in real time. For Zing Cards which have an auto reload function, it's basically just charging your credit card, then performing a reload to your TnG card (top up to your offline balance). Auto reload only triggers when your card reaches below a specific threshold.

QUOTE(laymank @ Mar 25 2015, 10:56 AM) Just never exceed RM1,499 in balance because your card will be automatically blacklisted for fraud and there is no way they can un-blacklist you, even if they wanted to.

Anyone tried reloading their TnG after 1st Apr. How's the charges?
Top up RM100, Transaction fees = RM0.53, net value = RM99.47
Top up RM100, Transaction fees = RM0.55 (round up), net value = RM99.45
Top up RM100, Pay RM106
Which scenario is the correct one?

QUOTE(kopiPeng @ Apr 2 2015, 10:12 AM) meaning to say if I topup at Petrol station which is "Tanpa Caj" I wont get GST right? Correct. If you get charged, ask them for tax invoice and see if you can see a GST ID. Otherwise, you can report them.

But don't some reloads charge the fee separately? Or is that only for using credit card that we get charged (for example) RM1 cash separately?

those cc surcharge (RM1 for RM100 reload) is "improper" anyway, discussing about GST on it is moot.

You cannot say that it is improper as you won't be charged GST or rm1 if reload from Plus service counter. And this is approved by government on service charge issue. If want to reload in other places, don't be a cheapskate.
