3. Preferred laptop/screen size  - 15" FHD, -i7 4510, above gt740

1. Preferred Brand: Anything except Acer/Asus
2. Budget: RM1k to 1.5k
3. Usage: Daily Usage for studies, entertainment purpose, good connectivity (wireless)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: Around small to medium size screen (less than 15inch)

Hope that you can help me find at least the best laptop around that range of price. Thank you~~~

i7 quadcore (hence i think the chipset has to be either QM or at least M. U mostly for ultrabooks)
16GB ram (either soldered by default or upgrade availability)
512GB SSD
less than 2kg as im a road warrior

- Thinkpad X1 Carbon (but max out at 8GB RAM only and that cost me 8k)
- MacBook Pro /w Retina display (customized spec cost 7k. Even that at dual core i7 only)
- Toshiba Protege Z30 (Malaysia doesnt seem to carry the specs listed above) but most ideal candidate aside MBP

hey guys, my GF laptop died yesterday so need a new one asap for work.

3. Usage - ms office, coding,maybe abit photoshop or mathlab, surfing, movie..not going to game on this laptop

5. additional - not heavy since its gonna be a girl using it..

Can anyone recommend me a laptop? Currently having HP Pavillion 14 but dont think its suitable for gaming, my laptop starting to crash bought less than a year. Dont know what's the prob will send it to reformat... So kinda looking for a longer lasting laptop, wanted a desktop but afraid might need to do college assignment so still laptop I guess unless got suggestion

Lenovo just refresh their Flex 2 14 if I'm not mistaken and I found the below difference:

If I'm more toward for portable battery life, I should get the older model right, because of integrated graphic card?
