Hi guys, can anyone tell which laptop is recommended to buy? Budget around 2000-3000, but is hard to choose in between the processor and graphic card, need help.

Personally have 5 choices in thinking:
1. Lenovo flex2-15 (i7 -4510u,  gt840 4G, 4G ram, 500/1tb hhd
2. Msi GE60 2PL-293MY
3. MSI GP60 2PE-283MY Leopard
4. Lenovo y510p
5. Lenovo y50-70
*
1.. all products at tat range not much different 1. even they claim to hv better card better this n tat.. end of the day still acceptable range only... y dun safe a bit more... 3600 already can get aw14 n some other high end entry.

2. if u go for stylish then no comments... tat 2 brand no pro will even look at it... self destruction management company... even asus wif bad warranty service oso hv better machine than them.

3. both brand hv heat issue... just lenovo famous wif it... thin laptop sure hv cooling issue... ultrabook type not mean for long hr of usage.

hello sifus  biggrin.gif ,

i need help because i'm not expert in this field:

1. Preferred Brand: Hp or Dell or Asus

2. Budget : RM2500-RM3000

3. Usage : Gaming (football manager,NBA 2k14,FIFA/PES), web surfing , microsoft office , movies

4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14'',  15''
I found 1 HP model and hope sifus can give some feedback:

HP model

1) HP Pavilion 15-p034TX
2) Windows 8.1 64
3) Intel® Core™ i7-4510U Processor (2 GHz, 4 MB cache, 2 cores)
4) 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 8 GB)
5) 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA
6) NVIDIA GeForce 840M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated)

is this model good enough based on the usage?
also, i have 2 question:

1) what is the difference between Nvidia Geforce 840M, Nvidia 840M and Nvidia GTX 850M?
2) can u recommend any good anti-virus?some said is Kaspersky, avast, titanium
thank you  biggrin.gif

1. Preferred Brand: Lenovo asus
2. Budget:RM2.5-2.8k
3. Usage: Dota 2, AutoCAD, music editing software
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15.6 , 14 is ok though.

Don't mind getting other brand but had bad experience last time with dell 15R & 15Z model which have insanely crazy cooling issue. Overheat even playing dota 2 on low setting. Any suggestion please?

Lenovo worse bro... asus still ok wif cooling... but ur budget like tat... go buy a gamer cooling fan better

4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14" or more
Is this budget enough for average gaming with graphic settings of low-medium ? Also, is it enough to last at least a few years ? Because I am going to college and university soon.
