Liverpool could have won the premier league if United did not hold such power in the FA. Even if the the refs tried to help them out by awarding a buttload of penalties. Can't blame the refs though, they got good skills and special training at the swimming pool every day.

League title will still be hard, unless the other clubs have an erratic season.

We are working upward (squad recovering form and confidence after last season, needs to be strengthened especially in CB and CM) and the squad needs time to pick up on what LVG wants.

Currently looks like the style of play is already showing positive improvement, but a positive pre-season is just that. League is a different kettle of fish.

If he can avoid injuries and stay fit...... bit of a risky pick for FPL though, given his age and medical history.

Btw shaw did good yesterday... he was slow at start but he pick up the pace and became really confident..

If he is doing extra intensive double sessions to work on his fitness... then playing games... he should be DAMN TIRED lol!

Probably gonna be a few weeks before the benefits start becoming apparent. Nvm, let him suffer now if it helps him during the coming season

Maybe a warped version of Stockholm syndrome after some of the hammerings they've received over the years? Few times I popped over to AST to see if any interesting news about transfers etc that fella seemed to be mouthing off about our team/club.

when playing games like FPL when we need to go research abit about other team players you expect to go to their threads and dig some info without needing to ask a question, right?

i feel it is a chore as they're usually more about gloating and talking bad about other teams than talking about their own squad of players
