imo cuadrado is more valencia-type (winger who can defend), while maria is more nani-type (winger and versatile forward) i dont think we badly need any of both, especially in steep price.

imo we have very good attacking players (excessive in numbers). not as good as city/chelsea, but definitely can rival others pl challengers.

but lack realiable defenders, fitness-realiablty and numbers.

midfielder quantity are good, but one quality dm will do a lot of good.

i believe, buying blind will solve a lot of problem. then sell /loan out the unwanted ones.

in ideal world, i hope lvg buy blind. loan out the likes of kagawa, powell, fellaini, nani/zaha (one of them stay). but in real world, loaning established/older players are quite difficult deal.
