I read the last few pages and I'm getting the impression that now most people are going for VI instead of VS? Why is that eventhough the criteria is higher? Have they upgraded VI or downgraded VS? Thanks!
*
Becoz people prefer MBB2 Premier's TP to Airmiles conversion plus the dining discount locally where MBB VS did not have those perks.

Hey guys, regarding the 5% cash back on petrol and groceries, what do they mean by groceries?

Assuming I buy hair wax, shaving cream, shower gel, etc etc that are non-consumable from aeon/tesco/cold storage, does these category of items considered as "groceries" ?

What if I top up my Touch & Go at petrol stations. Will that entitle for cash back too since I swipe the card at the station?

went to gardens card centre in the noon to apply for this card.. mainly aim for the airport lounge, as i fully utilized my mb2card always...

my monthly income is around 11k... submitted my EPF statement only... checked m2u just now, got my platinum's limit increased.. not sure if my VS is approved... tough luck i believe, as they might have rejected it and chose to upgrade my CL.. not sure if the CL is shared across all cards...

Yes CL shared with all cards. The limit double? Just give a couple of days and check again M2u it will show there if approved. Good luck smile.gif

I mean double from your last CL? That's funny coz mine is more than 6x. Always my new cards will have more than existing. The bank can easily see on the CCris smile.gif

So they will match or exceed it.

Base on monthly income of 11k validated through EPF statement is already more than good for them to approve the card unless CCRIS record doesn't match the criteria. Look at the bright side man. smile.gif

I agree that Maybank is damn stingy in offering CL. rclxub.gif

By the way, my CL is somewhere around 4 times of my monthly salary. sweat.gif

Congratulations!! rclxms.gif

See, as I said, look at the bright side and the sun shall shine upon you. biggrin.gif

By the way, I started using Maybank card only on June 2014 by applying for Amex Platinum Credit Card, and move on to Premier 2 Cards on December 2014, so I didn't even exceed a year, yet they increase my CL to somewhere around 4 times of my average monthly pays.

I guess partly may due to my spending and payment history with them even though it's only for 5 month when I apply for the Premier card.

And yeah, I agree that Citibank offer the best CL, how I wish Citibank CL can be my Maybank CL for me to utilise the card. laugh.gif

nope, in the FAQ it already explained that should you have another Visa card with Maybank (whether it's signature or platinum or Gold etc.), everything will be transferred to that card.

Erm.. For those who do not have the VS, once the conversion from the Sony Visa to VS, the TPs will be transferred to VS as well right?
