Hello guys..
Just received my SS last Saturday. I noticed the disc brake so rusty.. left reverse sensor not working. hopefully this can be fixed during the first service.

QUOTE(merinyu @ Aug 26 2014, 08:37 AM) Congrats on your new SS. Most probably due to where the car is stored. Mine left it one day exposed to rain or humid air can see the rust on the disc brake. It can be easily removed when you apply the brakes during driving. Hopefully you didn't get the brake judder problem. I changed my SS both front disc brakes during first service due to brake judder. Fortunately I got my SS faulty reverse sensor replaced but make sure they have stock before the service or else you have to visit SC multiple times. Make sure the replacement sensor is painted according to your SS color. QUOTE(yuzrie @ Aug 26 2014, 08:52 AM) Congrats and enjoy the ride. But yes, the brake judder for some of us. Mine still have another 400km before 1st service. Can't wait cause the torque is really tempting. Maybe need to use performance brake pad. Just for xtra safety. Ada jual ke? Need to check with the preve club. Hehe. Thanks! really enjoying my new ride. Anyone knows reliable and good SC near Shah Alam? |

Been driving my SS for roughly 9 months, and today i just found that, when i do a full right U-Turn, i heard a scrapping/rubbing noise on the left tire. Went to the local tire store near my house just to check it out, the mechanic said the brake hose/pipe is too near with the tire, causing a friction between the hose and the tire...mechanic said it's a design flaw by proton.. :|
Just wanted to ask you guys, have you guys experience something similar? |
