QUOTE(mystvearn @ Sep 13 2014, 07:13 PM) No idea. Unless a lot of people buy the car, I don't think it will ever come out-maybe at the EOL of the car, it will come out with all kinds of version. Don't wait. How many km the test drive vehicle? They have a super premium model which comes with the bodykit which you can purchase now. Cost a lot more than the premium model, IMO not worth it actually. vincent818 can answer you the deals. (The arrival of Australia’s first R3 branded model will mark a foray into true hot-hatch territory. The Suprima S R3 will arrive late 2014 with a fettled version of the existing 1.6-litre turbo engine, but a beefy 2.0-litre engine will arrive in early 2015. ) I got this quote from an article from proton top management interview I guess. http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mellor.nsf...A257C3C00169F1A

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Oct 14 2014, 11:35 AM) Hi, I think it will be a while for 2.0L to be mass produced by Proton. The nearest release regarding Suprima S variant is R3, which basically Suprima S Premium + R3 bodykits +R3 sportrims and maybe with more aggressive ECU mapping. The latter will be applicable for previous version of Suprima S I presume once its been released since they are using the exact same engines etc. Majority out there are agreed that the price quoted for those addition will be not worth it. I think it will be not worth it, too. Plus the rear skirt for R3 is too simple-ish. Third party late of this year will introduce a much aggressive rear kit with dual or quad exhaust port. According to recent Paultan article it seems like it will be more than just a bodykit alone. Maybe like the article i quote few page back the Suprima S R3 variant will be available year end 2014 and 2015 Q1 will be the launch of 2.0 version turbo. http://paultan.org/2014/10/16/proton-iriz-...00-kmh-variant/
