I'm happy with what I have because I'm not looking to break any Guinness book of record...hahahaha. Having more power is a plus point but more importantly is how one can understand and fully use the available power to his/her advantage. After all dyno figures are just numbers on paper, how to apply those figures in real is a whole different thing.

Its a "track day" event, so its gonna be real FUN! Drive selow at outter lane until familiar jor baru attack icon_idea.gif Ayam got back my helmet, to found it moldy jor(after some 10 years storage) sad.gif so I got myself another 1. Car condition 7/10 ready! Pending power steering switch to be replace. New arb drop links! New arb bushes! New speedmaster coolant! Tayar, after some 10k mileage still like new! Am thinking to drop camber to -1.5' before moving out. Also considering damper injection, to be replaced with Castrol LSD 90W110! icon_idea.gif

Enjoy your fun time that day....take some pics too....I want to see.... nod.gif

iinm it cant cut... saw this in market liao, but not liking coz too thick for my liking.. i wan halus like EL type. laugh.gif

Can DIY the EL light bar. What you need

1 LED any colour you like
2 Translucent flexible PP strip (like those use for cutting grass) ACE ada
3 solder gun + tin
4 reflective foil tape. (to tape the joint to the strip) ACE hardware banyak
5 resistor
6 shrink tube
7 wires

Step 1.
Calculate the high power LED voltage consumption then get a appropriate resistor then solder resistor to + leg of LED. Then solder red wire to resistor and black wire to "-" side of LED.

Step 2.
Use shrink tube to cover each soldered point and use hair dryer or heat gun to shrink the shrink tube to protect the soldered area from water and short circuit.

Step 3.
Put another layer of shirnk tube bigger size to cover the bottom of LED and the wires.

Step 4.
Use sand paper to sand of the rounded head of LED to make it flat. Attached the flexible strip with glue and wrap the joint area with silver reflective tape. (Wrap the whole LED) reason is do not want the light to leak out from the side and all light will travel into the flexible strip. Also sand the flexible strip so that the surface all become translucent.

Step 5.
Repeat step 1,2,3,4 for the other end of the strip. ( you need to calculate the length you want 1st)

Step 6.
Joint the + wire of both LED together with solder so that 1 wire can power 2 LED. DO the same for the "-" wire.

Step 7.
Connect + wire to parking light + wire then "-" to body or parking light "-" side.

Have fun trying...

Ya, was thinking to even clean the inside of the cover cuz ada air vapor masuk adi in headlamp and have lots of water mark. since going to take out cover to install, might as well clean it nicely then only seal it tight.
*
Come DIY with you....I ada heat gun...

QUOTE(baowen @ Aug 26 2014, 02:46 PM)
All the car headlamp was " gum " by a " rubber "
when the rubber was heated, it will be NOT sticky so you can pull it out nicely..
after you finish make-up with the LED strip inside the headlamp cover.
you just need to heat back the " GuM" to make it NOT sticky.
and put it back nicely and wait for the "GUM" to be cool down. once done, it will be SEAL TIGHT TIGHT like virgin..

p/s: please replace the "Gum" and "Rubber" with relevant technical word, i am car n00b don't know about the name.

Your Parada ok in the wet? How about noise.....the thread pattern looks noisy  sweat.gif
*
Not very noisy to me....in wet not bad but I the max I tried on wet was going 140 and run over water puddle. The car aquaplane a bit and steering feels light so after that I tau the limit. my current RE002 is better though. Hit water puddle can still give slight steering input and the car still can steer...in term of ride harshness RE002 is definitely much harsh than spec2 now my car cabin is more noisy and feel like rolling on tires filled up with stone inside...

But use parada go track quite fun. Tire is cheap and won't so painful to wallet. It can't compare with those higher end la but at least still can use on track or time attack. they last me until 37+k mileage before I have them changed. The time I replace them they still have a good 50% thread on all 4 (thread wear was even and only the shoulder makan more only) and I gave to kenji Lew and he further use them at superlap some more...the parada has tasted SIC, Elite and MIMC. The down side about it is the soft sidewall and overheating but if you do 2-3 laps and stop to cool down also can. Value for money performance tires I would say.

But I dun need track tires le....just something that I can use daily and the occasional spirited driving. If the sound is too much I'll have to pass, comfort is still an important criteria since my waifu also using the car.

Can't wait for my front CPC2s to worn out....which should be happening soon  brows.gif really terrible rubbers....high wear rate, poor grip dry and wet, and noisy as fck.
*
Then take parada spec2 la....cheap and cheerful

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 28 2014, 06:05 PM)
why not michelin ps3? it's really the jack of all trades tire agreed by almost enthusiast i've spoken with.

No offense, but PS3 I found it so so only...for daily use ok but not for the track.

no worries none taken at all.
i personally don't go with michelin due to the premium pricing anyways.

I've actually heard of many enthusiasts using ps3 on smaller tracks (not so much SIC though) and were very satisfied with it. the only drawback is the soft sidewall which they typically compensate with higher tire pressure.

for bigger tracks like SIC, apparently the tires "shreds" and it's a bit of a waste since ps3 don't exactly come cheap.
*
But I don't see much PS3 even on small tracks. Mostly using SX2, R1R, NS2R, RSR..PS3 very seldom can see it....
