QUOTE(goldfries @ Dec 15 2015, 04:57 PM) ehhh vikingw2k owns more lens than the rest of us. Even if he doesn't own it, I think he's entitled his opinion. Every other lens in this world will have people who love them and people who hate them, or have varying opinion. What you adore may be what I detest and vice versa. so far i am hooked to f2.8 too

QUOTE(teikboon @ Dec 15 2015, 09:01 PM) How about canon 100 f2 or 100 f2.8 macro? A bit more expensive than the 85 though the going price for used 100mm macro is around 1300-1500 now

QUOTE(minizian @ Dec 19 2015, 12:16 AM) Budget is limited for me now I still not sure which to get (zoom or prime) but I am more toward prime as I feel more comfortable working as it is the type of lens i working with it all the while (as with other camera system). It will be more fun if i have another body to attach another prime lens instead of chaning here and there. My current bag still able to fit DSLR and their lens but its getting a little bit tight to be honest, imagine i have those fast prime lens it will be out of space soon talking about bags, my Kata is now also the diaper bag QUOTE(Michaelbyz23 @ Dec 17 2015, 09:08 PM) Sharing some shots from the wedding I attended last week. QUOTE(minizian @ Dec 19 2015, 09:21 PM) trying not ot focus too much on bags and misc item. instead focus on photography itself. I tried using the tokina macro lens actually perform quite well for covering event the af motor quite loud tho guess i can focus on my next acquisition of the canon 200m lens instead dreaming on the zooms haha i am the one who talks the least about gears la, totally a gear noob anyway, anyone here used both sp90 and 100mm macro? got any substantial differences ar?

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Dec 21 2015, 12:21 PM) I used to have - Tammy SP 90 - Siggy 105mm - C100 non L - C100 L Tammy 90 has better optics than Siggy. C100 focusing is oreserm compared to Tammy. If you have the cash, C100 L for the non protuding lens and sharpness. thanks guys, still not enough bullets for Canon, so just look look see see 1st

QUOTE(g88 @ Dec 22 2015, 09:28 AM) depend on skill, thats why some of the shooter custom their speedlite to 'stop' the subject aside from filling light. U wont' shoot a flying butterfly and call it Macro right the bugs tend to run away when they see me
