Yeah, it's not longer fashionable to carry around a big black box with big black or white lenses anymore. Everyone is using their mirrorless/GoPros/smartphones to take photos nowadays. 

But I agree, the quality from phones like the Note 5 is really really good for what it is. Definitely more than adequate for FB or Insta. And the quality is only gonna improve in the next few years 

I agree, I still prefer my dSLR but I do realize that sometimes I have more fun and enjoy myself more when I'm not lugging around my camera and instead just focus on enjoying the trip/scenery/friends/etc. But then again, when I do bring my camera out and look at the pictures afterwards it gives me this warm and fuzzy feeling inside 

But tbh, cameraphones nowadays are really great. These were shot in auto mode on my Note 5. It's not perfect but for something that came out of a phone, most people would be satisfied with the quality. The only edit I did was to remove the number plates.

I'll post maybe after 2days coz Tomorrow going back to Genting already 3 days off are done, still got 2days to do laundry and get some shots hehehe! Hoping to have critics in the future hopefully still welcome even for a rebel user

Got leh.. but EFs mount.. 60mm f2.8 macro USM.. or tamron 90 SP better? However, with cropped factor, it will extend the focal length..

from macro standpoint, i will say go for the 60mm. it has a shorter focal length = shorter working distance, basically you have to get closer to the object but if you are running flashes the light diffusion would be easier to control.

at the same time you can use bigger aperture yet still getting enough DOF at 60mm compared to 90mm, causing less amount of light is needed for the same exposure.

and not to forget the tamron has a really noisy and slow autofocus

oh yeah i forgot about this. i got greedy and bought myself a 150mm macro lens, seriously hard to get enough of DOF although the working distance is sweet.

What's the sweetspot for someone with lots of media(photo and video) on a budget ?
This includes having a little redundancy/back up in the system, doesn't take hours to transfer 50-100GB and will not break your bank.

Nextodi isn't a end of line storage system. It's just to store it while on the go/shoot.
Was thinking of storage like drobo....
But was hoping it can be cheaper....

Yeah. Cloud space isn't sufficient for all the files haha.
I usually use that to pass files to client only.
Had to get the Dropbox 1TB package.
