Scenario No.1

I usually use recompose method.

Example, taking a portrait shots in a no flash environment. 1 window. Where light flashes on one side of the face.

To get right exposure during recompose shot, will you meter at bright face area or shadow? Usually i aim at bright side then recompose, but it will be too dark for the entire shot.
Any guidance on getting right exposure? reason behind to save time on shooting without Trial and error, by adding EV +/-

Next another scenario no.2

Usually in door environment,
There are multiples lighting. To get right exposure between overexpose from lighting and not getting under expose from the surrounding environment. The Focus point should aim where to get right exposure in between lighting and environment?

1) Got, that's the thing. I know can tweak on Lightroom, but some times you need the picture on the go.

2) You focus on subject, the lighting like light bulb all over expose ady

You know you can separately set your focus point and exposure point in your camera?

happened before to me with my tamron 70-200mm, luckily after a few times of turning the camera off and on + remounting the lens that error was gone 

BTW, by mechanical sound is it from the aperture blade? I just remembered that when that error occurred the aperture blade was stuck.

it seems like common issue for old generation tamron lenses then   

surprisingly that lens still alive, although i sold it to my friend

i would suggest getting something like a 50mm + extension tubes until you managed to save up for a new set of macro lens.

Hi a new (second hand) 6d user here.  using a 16-35, 50mm f1.4 non l and tokina 100mm macro lens. Still have no chance to do street shooting yet as i am busy

Finally got a proper dslr after fiddling with mirrorless (m43 and a7) all the while. I think all different type of camera (DSlR or mirrorless) have their own place and it all depends on the need and circumstances at the time

yup, that is the backside of 24-70mm, it does not have IS

Good to have, if nikon can make it, I don't see why nonac can't make it. Anyway luckily nonac compensated with 11-24L.

Looking forward for an improved version of 24-70.

Btw 35mm f2 is crappy, no idea why they even invested IS on it. tsk tsk.
If you already fork out like close to 8k for 24-70L, i think extra 1k for IS is justifiable la.
