Good suggestion!
Yeah I think this is good enough, I don't usually do action/sports photography.
Usually shoot landscape and portrait  biggrin.gif
I tried to hold Sony A7 mark1, but the handling feels not so right.
*
landscape or portrait no need to upgrade, unless u are a runway photog ofcoz, but if u have extra money go spend on the lenses even more worthwhile

I feel hor, over the past 5 years Canon's most interesting SLR products are ............ EOS 60D and EOS 70D, and perhaps EOS 100D.

I don't see many people talk about their 750D / 760D, I was at the launch and wasn't impressed by them.
*
somehow reminds me of nokia when suddenly they released so many "similar" models but in different shapes...

QUOTE(munak991 @ Dec 9 2015, 10:33 AM)
Just a bit of question on metering.

Scenario No.1

I usually use recompose method.

Example, taking a portrait shots in a no flash environment. 1 window. Where light flashes on one side of the face.

To get right exposure during recompose shot, will you meter at bright face area or shadow? Usually i aim at bright side then recompose, but it will be too dark for the entire shot.
Any guidance on getting right exposure? reason behind to save time on shooting without Trial and error, by adding EV +/-

Next another scenario no.2

Usually in door environment,
There are multiples lighting. To get right exposure between overexpose from lighting and not getting under expose from the surrounding environment. The Focus point should aim where to get right exposure in between lighting and environment?
*
answer 1
will have big difference meh between the exposures? if me i shoot janji sharp, then if want to increase exposure a bit can always edit in lightroom

2
focus on the subject

1) Got, that's the thing. I know can tweak on Lightroom, but some times you need the picture on the go.

2) You focus on subject, the lighting like light bulb all over expose ady

u have sample pics ar? i am lost when it comes to technical stuffs la..

happened before to me with my tamron 70-200mm, luckily after a few times of turning the camera off and on + remounting the lens that error was gone  sweat.gif

BTW, by mechanical sound is it from the aperture blade? I just remembered that when that error occurred the aperture blade was stuck.
*
That was what kldslr told me, if aperture blade KO, means 500 bucks for repairs..

When fruitie had it, it was already aged, and I pushed it even further doh.gif

i would suggest getting something like a 50mm + extension tubes until you managed to save up for a new set of macro lens.

get the cheapo 50mm f1.8 la, not too bad with extension tubes i think
*
Have that, but no need so leceh for now, coz my current 28-75 was surprisingly very sharp! So no need to purposely get a macro lens for now smile.gif

good thing then tongue.gif

i wonder how much magnification do you actually need for food shots? i guess very seldom you will go more than 1:2?
*
Hardly, but just love a macro coz we can go very close to the subject instead of cropping in pp later...
This is the last shot of the sp90, just love how it can capture the details on the stem, somehow the earlier 24-105 wasn't that pixel sharp...

So far very impressed with the build and especially sharpness, not sure whether it is due to the "macro" abilities added

Hi a new (second hand) 6d user here.  wave.gif using a 16-35, 50mm f1.4 non l and tokina 100mm macro lens. Still have no chance to do street shooting yet as i am busy unsure.gif

Finally got a proper dslr after fiddling with mirrorless (m43 and a7) all the while. I think all different type of camera (DSlR or mirrorless) have their own place and it all depends on the need and circumstances at the time  smile.gif
*
i didnt know tokina also came out with 100mm macro...

Good to have, if nikon can make it, I don't see why nonac can't make it. Anyway luckily nonac compensated with 11-24L.

Looking forward for an improved version of 24-70.

Btw 35mm f2 is crappy, no idea why they even invested IS on it. tsk tsk.
If you already fork out like close to 8k for 24-70L, i think extra 1k for IS is justifiable la. biggrin.gif
*
yaya in that sense, the pain is rather similar!hahaha
