Hi sifus, I have a 600D (with SC of approx. 27500), at what price would be a good price to sell it away? I'd say the condition's still good with no fungus or dust inside. hmm.gif

No place is crime free so when walking down streets especially crowded places always take care of your camera.  There are stories of thieves bumping into you.  And when you look at your camera your lens is gone!  Hard to chase the thieves in the crowded streets when you lose sight of them.  Many L lenses have been stolen in China like this.  L lenses are targeted as easy to identify its an expensive lens with that red ring and sold for good money 2nd hand.

try not to bring any big camera in the street as it will expose you as a tourist from far. kena before at vietnam, my xperia s gone sad.gif

When u shoot an extreme good photography moments and realize your ISO set at 1600

your face will be like this
user posted image

My face will be like that if I get blur pictures due to slow shutter speed which can't freeze the moments especially when I shoot indoor events and sports.

Plus customers usually won't be pixel peeping too much as long as they would like to have moments captured more than the rest.

Did I said something wrong?

Chill bro. Most of the guys here want you to avoid GAS (gadget acquisition syndrome) and maybe other reasons as well.

Haha, I not expert yet and perhaps a noob too in photography. Used to have impulsive thinking to buy this and that but ended up selling some of it as I not utilising it as much as I would like it initially tongue.gif

The best camera is the one with you

my minimum aperture for food photo is f/4, will always go f/5.6 or higher. If I have my flash around and enough area to bounce light or commercial setup, it's f/8 to f/11.

for commercial work - as mentioned, I use PRIME lenses to maintain consistency for FOV.

I use zoom lens for my makan makan shots because I can go wide for the restaurant and zoom to 50mm - 85mm range for food, zoom in and out according to space available.

y u no attend my talk on food photography!?!?!

I'm not really laughing at him la, more like just amused at how someone can be so obsessed with gear technicalities like me back then.

Difference was I kena shoot kaw kaw everytime i brought up stuff like this or act like I know more about gear than everyone in front of my boss.

We all have to learn one way or another  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

I like the black-and-white version better. And IMHO, if you can isolate the sweeping(?) man, it might be better still. rolleyes.gif

something like remove people from the final result like stacking a few pictures? no try before, anyone expert here? actually the color version is the one directly from the black and white version by turning the black and white off in Lightroom. perhaps I should do some tweaking for color version

So their rudeness is leading to push and sell a 50mm F1.4 for RM 500-600?  That's cheaper than 2nd hand.  Use their rudeness and stupidity against them.  For a good condition Canon 50mm F1.4 for RM 500 is a crazy bargain.  I'd buy it even if I didn't want it.  Can resell straight to another shop for profit.

Next time I go there and shake the 5d mark 3.  And hope they say "wah cannot sell anymore you must buy for RM 3000!"
*
hehe if I further test no problem,I might just take the lens for that price. Sell it outside again. I brought a 2nd hand one from lowyat forum for 800 ler.

anyone got experience with using tele-converter? is it really the maximum aperture available will be deceased by the multiple the converter has?

example: 2x will make your lens lose 2 stops of light
