QUOTE(Guriseruda @ Aug 21 2006, 09:18 PM) Blue Ice II look nice only... i have before.. very sux... damn sux.. I second that...this 1 100% damn super hyper good.. .good to get it ASAP Blue ice 2 damn sucks!!! That's why i sell it... Thermalright HR-05 is built for fanless... But u can also put a 70MM fan on it to make it perform better... If you're wondering how it looks, it's like this: ![]() |

Bulk hoo?The bulk is already closed... And i don't think the seller want to open the bulk again... Maybe you can buy from Overclockers Paradise at LYP, but i have to remind you something, their prices are out of the world... |

QUOTE(PowerSlide @ Aug 22 2006, 02:19 AM) Yup, it beats HR-05 in fanless design...But for HR-05, you have one pro's then Zalman Fanless Chipset Heatsink... For the HR-05, you can fit a 70MM fan on it... But how do you want to fit a fan on that Zalman Fanless Chipset Heatsink? There's no holes or anything else to lock down any fans... And just imagine how well the HR-05 will perform with a fan attached to it... Definitely better than that Zalman Fanless Chipset Heatsink... Overall, the HR-05 still wins... But it still lose if you're using SLI Setup... |

Why? Are u using SLI? If u do, go get u're self an HR-05 SLI version... It's sure better than any other chipset cooler, but the performance i think a little lower than original HR-05... |

QUOTE(PowerSlide @ Sep 7 2006, 07:54 PM) ol skool s478 Hey bro..now using xp120 n the chipset placement on my msi mobo is very near so no space..best is jus low profile like blue ice pro hav try some measurement..might or might not fit.. TR nb-1/nb-1c is good choice but i feel in love at hr-05 n the evercool cant use coz my mobo uses push pin instead of a hole If u're using socket 478 motherboard.. I am very very sure that HR-05 fits perfectly on your motherboard.. There will be no complication.. Trust me... It won't... |

QUOTE(PowerSlide @ Sep 7 2006, 09:35 PM) my mobo ini maciam..same layout jus diff model 95% of my sixth sense says that it can fit into your mobo... ![]() the chipset placement too close n the xp120 heatpipe is kinda blocking.. mebb jus take the risk buy one n try..cant use sell to u 5% of my sixth sense says cannot... Buy it first la.. If cannot fit, then sell to me cheap cheap loo... After that i can fit another HR-05 to the southbridge... Two HR-05 after that, one is on northbridge, and the other one on the southbridge with both using Delta 70MM fan... Just day dreaming... |

Hey powerslide....
Look at this chipset heatsink "KVMCOM" are tokin' about... ![]() Do you think it can surpasses HR-05? Don't think so... I oso believe that it's performance is just the same with CoolerMaster Blue Ice Pro... No offence KVMCOM, just giving my opinion though... This post has been edited by sHawTY: Sep 9 2006, 12:02 AM |

QUOTE(allenultra @ Sep 9 2006, 12:19 PM) Not that we don't wanna talk about it...It's just too simple... We're here discussing for high end chipset heatsinks such as Thermalright HR-05... @allen, maybe u could post some temperature differences before and after swapping to those heatsinks... Hey powerslide, u're talking about this chipset heatsink:
![]() It sure look promising, but... Sorry to say this but, it's a little ugly... Tingjling? Sure aa it can beat HR-05? Well, for me HR-05 is the best... With heatpipe, can fit 70MM fan... Just think if you fit a high cfm 70MM fan on that HR-05... Damn it's gonna beat every chipset heatsink in the market... **I'm using my HR-05 fanless now... Can't find a good 70MM fan in the market... QUOTE(ayu @ Sep 9 2006, 06:36 PM) Mod? No i didn't mod it... It's on sale by kvmcom... Go check it out... But be worry about the price though... It's damn expensive... QUOTE(mADmAN @ Sep 9 2006, 07:02 PM) @sHawTY I don't want a low profile fan...wan a good 70mm fan?? use the A64 s754 or s939 stock heatsink fan... its 70mm, low profile and good enough to cool a processor... all u need to do is find one I want a ganas ganas fan!!! So that it'll make my HR-05 cools my chipset heatsink cools much more... So madman, do you have any good 70MM fan? |
