Noticed LED pulse light only works on SMS, Whatsapp, email but not on missed call, didn't noticed until someone mentioned it in another forum, as missed call will get sms so light still blink.

so from what i understand, if just 4.3 ap..just dl the malaysian rom and flash via recovery (wipe data)..if downgrade from 4.4 need to use the miflash n flash the malaysian fastboot version?

for those who like me using maxis on kitkat, currently they provide me with new modem firmware to be flash on the phone. after flashing it, i havent yet got any drop calls and my gps is working again. only on data part where when u make/receive calls, the data is automatically turn off and when u finish the call, it turn back on with delays. i think this is the solution they try make.

it still in beta though.

Im refering to below step to downgrade from DEV rom to Stable Rom unfortunately my hp is not booting up already 20mins the system is only prompt the MI icon and Im charging my hp now...

Using GSam battery app, the charging rate for my S4 using its 2amp charger is 1200mah. So I can safely assume S4 has a max input of 1.2amp charging.

However MI3 gsam indicated -900mah to -1000++mah for 2amp charging. It goes -600++mah for 1 amp stock charging. Any idea how to read this...

Can we use 2A charger on mi3? like an ipad charger? Will it harm the battery?

OTA updates are like that. It depends on what version u are running on.

Experienced it from my Nexus 7 2012. Last time I nid to update from 4.2.2 to 4.3 before receiving OTA to 4.4. That's why in xda forum, there are ppl catching the OTA update. And let us manual flash it. But before flashing it, we muz make sure we are running on a certain version. Coz OTA updates have no complete image files, it only contain the latest update, not the whole package. If u wanna do a clean flash, nid to dl the full package from Google Nexus iso. Then it does a clean flash and make sure no file is missing. OTA is just like a patch, it does not consist of the full package, so u nid to have previous version's file.

Not sure if u guys understand what I mean. lel.

Conclusion is OTA updates requires u to run on a certain version 1st.

I guess for us, we nid to find the rom from v14 to v18 1st, then u'll get the OTA update notification. I can provide the ota update rom from v18 to v22 by google drive. But u'll nid to be running on v18 1st.

For Maxis user, is there any improvement on V22? My friend doesn't want to upgrade afraid of Maxis drop call issue.

if dl the file from MIUI, I think that is full flash. Meaning the system file and everything. And iinm, might wipe ur phone data too if u flash it. If I'm not mistaken la, never tried doing a full rom flash on Mi3 before.

Coz yday when I update from V18 to V22. The downloaded rom is miui-ota-cancro_global-KXDMIBE18.0-KXDMIBF22.0-65f2a91fa7-4.4.

based on the naming, the OTA is juz for device from v18 update to v22.

if same file size, then it shud make no difference, whether dl from miui or apply ota update. If dl from MIUI and flash it, will our data like picture or sms be gone? Never tried dl from MIUI and flash it before.

but my phone tells me my v14 is the latest... how come ya??
