Done updating to kitkat & before this done backup using hi suite. Trying to restore the backup file but the latest hi suite cant detect any pervious back up file which I saved in my laptop.

Hi. Sorry I am quite new to this whole dual sim concept on my Honor 3C lite. I am currently on a voice only contract with Maxis and am reluctant to change that as the current voice plan fits me very well. However the internet add ons are very expensive on Maxis and I don't need 4G speeds, just enough to manage my WhatsApp. So I thought of getting a digi sim that can receive data and put that into the first sim slot while I put the maxis into the second sim slot
My questions are
1- when I wish to make calls, how to I indicate to the phone that I only want to use the Maxis (second sim) line?
2 - my WhatsApp is now tied to my maxis line and I do not wish to change it. Can I use the data from Digi in the first sim slot to continue receiving and sending out WhatsApp messages?

Can you get a screenshot of the update notification? Want to verify build number before I can tell if it's recent.

Just did a double check. The latest official build is B109, so, unless you are having an earlier build number(I think it was B108), you shouldn't be getting any update notifications for a local Malaysian set.

any noticeable difference from the last update? last time i updated from B105 to B108 and my phone goes haywire.
