Hi Guys,

how long can we hold the number plate? I heard W and B Plate number only valid for a month and other states is 3 month
*
Correct me if I'm wrong. What I understand is KL number plate is renewable up to 3 months and other state is valid for 1 month only.

I think it depend on type of engine. I use Shell 95, Caltax 95 and BHP 95. No big different in KM travelled per full tank for MYVI and 1st gen City.
*
Agree. If there are any difference I believe it will be negligible. hmm.gif

I more interested to know which configuration best suit our city and how does it looks like after installed.
Anyone can share the picture of your city after installed  tinted glass?

Some may not like their cars to be tint according to the 70:50:30:30 combination because they afraid the car might look weird. It is legally ok to go for a 70:50:50:30 or 70:50:50:50 combination.

The recent announcement mention that 30:30 at back is the new legal ruling, no more 50:50. But only time will tell when this will be implemented and how it effects existing cars.
*
QUOTE(Matrix @ Oct 8 2014, 09:29 AM)
Existing cars follow old rules not affected at all. They reduce the rear windows vlt limit...you can have more/higher vlt no problem, no tint also can.
*
Matrix is right. The 70:50:30:30 is the maximum VLT% allowed by JPJ. Any tint lighter then this combination are permitted.

QUOTE(Asgaard @ Oct 10 2014, 01:11 AM)
Black - Already driving black coloured car. Time for change
White - Easy dirty. Scared later need keep wash car
Blue - Looks good at first sight. After a while, don't feel so
Silver - Common sight.
Modern Steel - Driving this now. Waited 2 months ++ for this colour although SA keep want me change colour nod.gif
*
QUOTE(QRG1215 @ Oct 10 2014, 01:44 AM)
Black - Not my colour
White - Hard to keep it clean
Blue - Default Honda city colour
Silver - Not bad looking (SA ask me to change to this)
Modern Steel - Waiting for mine
Just sign loan agreement on Wednesday, hopefully can get the car out by next week =D. Booked end August get mid Oct. ok right?
*
As mentioned by Asgaard, silver is common but silver color is a good camouflage against dust so car will appear slightly cleaner. All color and silver alike will stain , yellowing or loss its shine after long term exposure to external corrosive elements. The only difference between them are the level of obviousness against dust, scratches, yellowing & shine effect.

Those who are worry about long term maintenance of certain color. Worry no more. Go for glass coating. Require no regular waxing/ polishing and most importantly easy washing.

We do provide package deal for tint + coating.

It is unfortunate to see many recent posts that many people are still waiting for their new cars. People will always be in dilemma to cancel an order after all they had been waiting for so long.

Which is consider good tinting (less than 2K)? Possible recommend type as well
a) llumar -> Their webpage mentioned that "*JPJ NON COMPLIANT". Like that also can.
b) winguard -> never heard about this
c) raytech -> I heard it is good.

my SA told me, when car want to come then only pay down payment. They will call me 1 week before so i can prepare. Why you pay so fast downp ayment? Get car only pay down payment.
*
QUOTE(Matrix @ Oct 14 2014, 06:47 PM)
Yep. Same here. I sign agreement and pay downpayment only when car has arrived.
Imo, no see car, dont pay and dont sign.
*
Totally agree with Matrix. For whatever mode of payment it is advisable to pay directly to the company and to avoid any future dispute is good to also ask for an official receipt.

brake lock vs steering lock which one better?

Brake lock is whole lot more convenient then using a steering lock. Some keep a steering lock more for defensive purpose rather than using it to secure their cars... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Btw guys, i would like to ask, this evening i jz signed my agreement with my banker. But i didn't really read the contract. Do u guys usually read the contract first before sign? Or just sign without read? Coz the contract itself is very thick layers of papers.
*
If you read it will take you hours to finish. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif . Its filled with pages of conditions.
The stuff that everyone must read before signing are the loan amount, interest rate, monthly installment & term.

If you meant the water reservoir in your car you may just top it up with tap water to the max level.

Hi guys,

I just realised my car got a tiny rust at my bonet, I'm not sure what's the cause of it but should I send to a third party or to Honda 4S at PJ?

It's a 2 month old car! so devastating!!  cry.gif

Look like a stone chip to me. It will need a touch-up job to restore to original.

QUOTE(budak minyak @ Oct 22 2014, 12:20 PM)
Guys, my 5 days old city already clocked 500km mileage. This Friday me and family will go holiday from kl to johor, so i think by then the mileage will be more than 1000km. So my question now is, since the first service should be made on 1000km mileage, say if my car when i come back from holiday is 1200km mileage, will it still be okay for the first service? Will honda void my warranty coz already exceed their service conditions which is 1000km mileage?
*
That show you really make use of the car. thumbup.gif
