Here are a few problems with the car after two days of driving it.

2.dashboard gap
3.theres a spring visible shape behind the front passenger seat

Greetings City owners! 

I am not one of your kind, but am seriously considering buying a City in the near future. I'm sure people here could go on and on about the benefits of owning a City (it is the owners club after all). However, as a potential buyer naturally I'm most concerned with its weaknesses    So I'd appreciate your to share your most honest and unbiased view on any problems and dissatisfactions you've had with your beloved City.

Areas I'm particularly concerned with are
- fuel consumption - Better than VIOS according to user's feedback...According to specs, beats VIOS and Almera
- reliability - It's a Honda, apa ktard mau lagi?
- after sales service - It's a Honda, apa ktard mau lagi?
- cost of servicing and spare parts - no difference than VIOS or Almera...probably cheaper than Almera according to Almera's user's feedback of TCSS rip off services.
- back seat suspension and comfort of ride (my not-so-young parents will be sitting at the back) - V-Spec is harder than E-Spec. E-Spec comfort is very decent. Just don't go fast over small nasty bumps. Anyway, some superior comfort tyres will improve the situation even more.

but do highlight any other City-specific problem areas too. No decent competitors.

Thanks for replying. I noticed you had no negative comments though. So you have no problems/gripes about your City at all? Sounds too good to be true  Are there any particular SCs you know that are good/bad? And as for test drives, I've been to two showrooms and they only have the V spec as a test drive unit. Also, Matrix mentioned earlier that V spec is harder than E spec. Why would the ride differ between specs? From what I understand the differences between E and V should be mostly cosmetic, things like airbags and foglights. I have already test driven the V spec with my mom in the back, and she said it wasn't that comfortable compared to some other models I test drove.

My S+ spec steering wheel is lighter than E and V spec.....

Loan no problem...a week(if i'm not mistaken) after paying booking fee already signed the agreement
The tinting is done by my SA as i am not free on weekday. I also ordered modulo body kit to be installed. Hopefully this saturday i would get my car... wait so long already..

Maybe they mistaken on the model and follow the old city service routine?

i will go service next month... mileage estimate will be around 5xxx next month..i will follow the schedule according to month due to i seldom drive...not mileage ..

my previous service is on May.

1k/1st month you need to go inspect only. Free labor

10k/6months you need to go service d. Free labor but Part price 192.98

20k/12months. Labor 126.14 + Part 98.52 = Total 224.66

Err...IF he changed engine oil during the previous service, maybe yes.

But all Hondas don't change engine oil during 1K/1 month service. Thus, I'd err on the side of 10K/6 months regardless of when you did the 1st service, cos 1st service is just inspections/chassis tuning/checking.

When i did my 1K service, i asked to see the service schedule with price for all. same as your quote here but the admin there tell me, the prices listed are for mineral oil and they will automatically change to full-synth oil when i come do my actual service. so you need to add another rm100 to each quoted price.

10k = RM292.98
20k = RM324.66

If you want semi-synth then add rm20 only. Im thinking of going for that. seems like semi-synth is better value anyway.

im probably going to use optimum no rinse instead of wax but havent purchased yet.
