QUOTE(putindog @ Oct 9 2014, 03:16 PM) Anyone notice that when driving pass road humps at just a little higher speed (sometime react too late to reduce speed), very loud noise is heard from the axles, like the car bumping into something? Is time to send your car to SC to realigned the chasis underneath your car. I just done it last week and so far so good.

QUOTE(putera7 @ Oct 10 2014, 12:22 AM) i just visit SC on last tuesday and i request them to check or realign the chasis but they said they can't do. They only have alignment machine only. bcoz due my car was hit from the back last time so wonder if SC can help but they refuse by saying no machine can check your chasis. is it true ka? so i decided later send to pusapakom..sukarela one and pay rm50. Hi putera7, you may need to send your car to Honda 3S Centre @ Selayang to have a realigned of the underneath chasis. It is cover under Honda 5 years warranty and absolutely FOC. Otherwise driving on the road not safe if taking sharp corner.

Serious?? Car less than a month needs chasis realignment? Is it included in the free service maintenance list? Yes, it is covered under Honda 5 years warranty. Send in your car to have a check as senior technician informed me 70% of the local assembled car having this issue due to time constraint during assembling process.

QUOTE(putera7 @ Oct 10 2014, 09:06 AM) selayang is KAH MOTOR rite? or can i go any KAH MOTOR for example near my house is jalan chan sow lin. You can send in to Kah Motor @ Chan Sow Lin branch to have a check. But I'm not sure whether they have the alignment devices equipped in their branch. So far I understand is Kah Motor Selayang have this equipment. Which is quite big to check on overall alignment of the car.

QUOTE(toughguy @ Oct 10 2014, 02:28 PM) Damn.. Last 2 weeks SA call to confirm car will reach on today. When I called up, like forgotten what he tell me earlier.. Said car not coming this week. Sigh! is it possible that someone have potong my Q? They offer my car as selling point of fast delivery to other buyer. who know the procedure of car booking in their system? If your car loan yet to approve and other customer pay more for the car (perhaps less discount given), then the reservation will go to the person first instead of you. Need to constantly monitor their production flow before able to receive the car on time. The later you get, the more problematic car you get due to not much left when come to your turn.

QUOTE(toughguy @ Oct 10 2014, 03:41 PM) I suspected this already coz I get a good discount. My loan approved just 3 days after my booking, therefore not an issue. So, this means they can suka suka potong my Q? How to monitor their production flow? Call Honda Malaysia to report your concern. Otherwise SA won't treat your case seriously as more discount had given. The philosophy of give and take is apply to them.

QUOTE(toughguy @ Oct 11 2014, 04:53 PM) My SA verbal delivery date have passed but when l looks properly, the delivery date written on booking form is end of Oct 14. I'll give mine if I doesn't received mine by Nov 1st. Proposed Format: Car dealers/location/SA name/model/color/booking date/Expected delivery date as in booking form/Discount offered (attached with booking form) TS need to verified their booking form to prevent competitor sabotage. To enter the list should be the last source. Means doesn't received car after promised date and SA give grandmother story after that. If really cannot get a car on time, is time to call their sales manager to chase for the order. All SA at the end of the day still referred to their manager for stock yard car availability. My SA last time ask me directly deal with sales manager to get latest update on the ETA, car condition and I do rejected once in my lifetime for the defects car. Need to chase and monitor the car condition otherwise worried may assigned you a lemon car.

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Oct 13 2014, 03:54 PM) Which is consider good tinting (less than 2K)? Possible recommend type as well a) llumar -> Their webpage mentioned that "*JPJ NON COMPLIANT". Like that also can. b) winguard -> never heard about this c) raytech -> I heard it is good. Please take note that most of the tint offer in the market now claimed 70% VLT is not exactly reach the figure and during operation will kena summonses as well. Some thread had mention JPJ officer had examine 10 cars and all 10 cars are failed for the inspection. Even top brand also encounter the same fortune. Think twice before tinting your car, especially the windscreen part. This post has been edited by Jeffreynsx: Oct 13 2014, 04:13 PM

QUOTE(budak minyak @ Oct 13 2014, 02:08 PM) Chinese. The SA and manager both chinese. They lied to me for so many times, and today I had enough, I ask for refund and no more bullshit from them. Make sure can get full refund or else only pay back RM450 and subject to long delay payback. Take customer money and put in the bank for earning interest is their expertise.

QUOTE(Taeng9389 @ Oct 23 2014, 03:51 PM) if it's really cracked, re-paint won't do any help, especially around the side area, they must have run over some road curbs, used to have a front skirt that is cracked at the side, it fall off when i was on the highway doing 100km/h, but that was ABS material, ori modulo kit is in PP, not sure how this PP material will react Original modulo kit (PP) won't cracked as per ABS type of material being used on bodykit. More flexible on tough situation and paint more lasting. Had been tested by Honda Malaysia as compare two products. That's the reason why the PP that come under Modulo package is expensive compare to 3rd party market.

Do any of u know where is a good shop that i can send to fix this and how much it roughly gonna cost me? [attachmentid=4208900] I think yesterday you did not sleep well and today half conscious only caused this incident happen. Knocking back + respray can easily cost RM800 to fix it back to original shape inside Honda SC.

QUOTE(huiyu @ Nov 11 2014, 12:21 PM) I think ECON mode will safe the fuel if you are on highway or not so congested road. If you need to cut q then you need to off ECON mode, because your car will lower down the power and so wont have power for you to cut q. thats the function of the ECON mode. So it depends on your way and usage on it. It will definitely save fuel if you know how to use it. Hi huiyu, you confirm highway can turn on Econ Mode? As previous Honda Civic owners had did what you say and ended up car lost a lot of torque power and at last car breakdown on the side of the road and waiting for tow car to arrive and drag it back to Honda SC to rectify the sudden lost of torque power issue. Normally Econ Mode should turn on and off during the car idling or slow speed but not for high speed as computerized system unable to cope with the severed change condition.

QUOTE(max_lcy @ Nov 17 2014, 08:59 AM) Morning All Need some advises from you guys : I'm getting my Honda City E spec soon and i heard MANY people said ... "If new car, u cannot drive more than 90km/h because for engine break-in period... must wait until next service (10k mileage) only u can drive more than 90km/h." Now the problem comes, i will need to drive from KL to penang on that day i collect my car. If follow the 90km/h.... then drive 6 hour also tak sampai penang lagi any expert here can give some advice ? Hi max_lcy, if less than 1000km, still can drive within 90km/h. If after 1000km, can speed already.
