Congratulations. Now it's time to see what it can do when you floor the throttle biggrin.gif
*
Press pedal lightly also can easily up to 100km/h with notice untill look on meter there. I like turbo. Of course there got engine accelerate sound. But which car don't have dude. So far happy. Mine got slightly helicopter sounds. Inform sa and he help me inform sc to book the disc brake rotor.

Once you get used to the car, driving another car (non comparable cars I mean) will make you wished that you were driving your CFE biggrin.gif
*
first impression.

1. not all material in car is direct plastic.. it got soft touch material above the plastics.. so still feel good.. almost same as VIOS g specs.. fake leather above plastic.. but it more louder than preve.. (go try knock the dashboard of VIOS and Preve then u know what i Mean).
2. HU so far so good.. reading manual book it mentioned we can optional install reverse camera.. So?? Proton SA not allow to do so.. Anyone install reverse camera in Proton?? i dont want void warranty..
3. suspension and absorber im ok.. quite good in bad broken road.. consider hard version.. compare to my iswara is softer version..
4. Air cond is the best 1.. even level 1 speed also enough cold for me in 25 celcius..
5. Door closing feel quite kasar a bit if compare with camry, BMW.. but still better than previous generation.. so far no problem with thhis.. only the ddifference.. still ok.
6. enginee ggood.. Luckily choose CFE.. Engine really powerful. If full press pedal, confirm can feel its power..

*
my car come out from ALIO in jelutong penang.. but i stay near to AutoCity Juru.. i will go juru there take car in future.. coming my 1k service is on 4th August.. made the appointment ady with my SA.. he will help me do booking.. will try to rectify the minor helicopter sounds too.. not loud, but can notice it..

if all time available then may meet up d.. Initially i plan to buy soft lilac.. after that consider quite long time, choose white in the end.. Soft lilac so far i only saw once on the road of penang bridge.. Mostly i saw white, silver and red..

QUOTE(cangkui @ Jul 23 2014, 04:19 PM)
new premium preve doesnt come with CFE emblem anymore ah? this Lotus and Turbo emblem is standard for a new one?
*
as i notice all proton dealer and heard from SA, all new Preve come with TURBO emblem already.. so far we hardly to determine whether the car is EXEC or Premium from exterior unless notice from behind.. Spoiler and TURBO emblem..

Really need help from these 2 months Preve buyers.

My main issue now is the 5 yrs warranty. Where is it written that the engine is under the 5 yrs warranty? 5 yrs warranty is rather vague. Warranty list only says 3 yrs for the engine.

I have checked with my SA and his manager and they cannot find it in black and white saying the engine is under the 5 yrs warranty.

I have also called the Proton icare and the guy says the engine is under 5 yrs warranty. But when I asked where it is written in black and white that the engine is under 5 yrs warranty, he referred me to the SC in my town. This is giving me a headache. Maybe I should just give up proton and get something else.

Hope that you guys can help. Thanks.
*
in manual book it state 3 years.. but there are another 2 years extended will send to us.. refer first page there also do stated. no need to worry d.. after 5 years total lost also 70k.. buy foreign car also got risk to be broken.. as long as there are still able to repair then its ok ady..

In my service booklet, there state warranty for 60 months or 150k km whichever come first.
For the cover parts, included, engine, transmission, aircond, I will capture picture and upload later.
Wah, so good, after 5 years total lost also got 70k? I wanna check if like that really safe. rclxms.gif
By the way, just confirm with you see we getting the same version of manual and service booklet or not?
My got state A member of DRB-Hicom on the cover, is it the same as your?
*
total lost i mentioned is just example.. hahaha.. ignore it..

for 5 years warranty stated in booklet, its for basic warranty coverage.. there got mentioned about it..

for specific warranty coverage is only power window is 10 years/xxxxxxkm..

then other parts like engine, brake, transmission, is all 36 months or 150000km only.. try look again.. but in first page, many previous users mentioned we will get another 2 years extended warranty from proton. im not sure.. may call to WeCare and ask see afterwards.. i dont care. since their system sure got our record.. why care about this..

My Fc. I just pump rm80 she'll into my car right after I received my car. And just drop to 2 bars just now. Check sid it show still got 176km to go. For me this turbo Fc is good. Why people say not good. It really depends on driver.

Currently driving highway and penang bridge. But most of time heavy jam for these 3 days. Between I do driving city only.

Wait coming Aug I will full driving highway to work only. Without any jam. Possible 2 to 3 traffic light stop only. I believe my preve turbo can achieve below 8/100km.

I see. I read "went off" as "started". E.g. the alarm went off at 6 am. English can be a tricky subject to learn! Ha.

Looks like I am getting a bad deal here with 3K + 500 only. Will ask for more.
*
As malay said, rezeki. Dont compare with others.. As long as SA not bad, let people get some earning too ba.. Maybe u ask for everything, if can only deal, if cant dont proceed..

Your engine is still new, that's why FC still not good enough. My city driving average fuel consumption meter doesn't go above 8L/100KM. It is in the region of 7L/100KM.
Don't be silly. Fuel consumption is not just based on RPM but also on load. When gear engaged, there's additional load to engine which the injectors have to fuel more to the engine. Otherwise the engine would have just stalled.

Same theory, if load is 0 at 2000 RPM (example), it uses no fuel. This situation is when we are coasting.
*
oo cool.. i do go testing my new company routes from home to company, company back to home.. is only 7l/100km.. including traffic light and others.. 100km/h with auto cruise.. feel very good for me..

what type of portable gps u bought? mind to tell d model? looking for one too
*
for me, im using my ipad 3rd gen as portable GPS. no need extra buy.. just spent rm50 for the papago apps previously.. easier and settle.. put under the console there.. able to stable over there too.

stocks GPS is kind of useless outdated map.. but normally if use to go back home still got no problem la.. tongue.gif but search POI quite hard for those newly or not so famous places.. but for shopping mall, petrol station still not a problem..

for me, i still feel papago is the best.

*
oh the person u asked are different people.. haha i just voice my opinion to u only.. as u said,a portable GPS is way expensive.. that's why i personally tell u my own secret on GPS devices.. i use my ipad as gps devices, bigger screen and better view.. without promotion price, GPS software just costs around rm100.. better than a standalone GPS device..

Sorry to hear that especially with your new car. Maybe avoid driving in that area?

I thought with tubeless tyres, they do not deflate straight away but gradually. So I always look at my tyres in the morning before using the car.

Cheerio.
*
erm erm.. i only found in this morning when i want go for my first service.. luckily today no need go work.. change spare tyre and move on highway with 50km/h and hazard lights

guys need some advice.

did my 1st service at mutiara damansara. it was free service and they gave me mach 5 (mineral) and told me next service is 10000km. i did argued with the service advisor mach 5 how to drive up to 10k mileage. is this mach 5 engine oil correct?
*
mach 5 is only got each 5k interval only.. but i think proton sc only accept semi-EO and fully EO for 10k service.. mach 5 should not included.. your attended service advisor very bad..

yes mach 5 is the engine oil they free for us.. if u want go for 10k interval service, better go for synthium 800 that they selling is rm112.. mach 5 must go back every 5k/6months

and free labor services is only for 1 years period with 3 times... but parts and others are free for 3 years only.. me also just noticed by this morning.. check and see in their system got 3 years free vouchers.. so mean all necessary parts are included.. but labors charged only free 3 times.. really !@#$%^&*..

afterwards, each labor charges around rm69 for minor, rm150 like that for major..

dont worry about that. sc said is ok for 10k interval for semi EO. but for those worry about it, may proceed to service after 5km/3months.. but nothing related about warranty void if use semi EO for 10k/6months interval.

just make sure dont exceed 10k interval or 6months.

found the rattling sound behind of car.. and i solved it yesterday, its come from rear seat. readjust back the rear seat.. and i found it's quite difficult to bend the seat down.. now solved..

1 more things that i find out is the window controller on driver side, when the driver window close up, the panel over window controller seems will up a little bit too..

part of my review for this Preve Turbo with 2 weeks usage..

1. Performance - consider powerful within 1.6cc engine (of course turbo help some). but this turbo we got is not really trying to boost the power, but its help to boost to carry the heavy body move forward easier only. the fastest speed i tried is 180km/h ( cant go anymore i think).

2. Fuel consumption - so far i think its about ok average.. about 50km/rm10.. depend on right foot. i able to get 8l/100km for my work travel everyday.

3. Stability, handling - is real good. able to corner the out junction with 100km/h but dont try better.. better keep below 80km/h.. suspension is good..

4. Tinted window - the ecotint come with preve turbo is ok average to me for each side.. but front windshield is totally cannot accept.. will find out ecotint shop in my place and try to put another layer on it.. colour starting changed darker a bit. but people still able to see through from outside.

5. HU - so far so good, excellent for the bluetooth calling.. but the worst is the GPS. reception is good, but map is totally outdated. its ok, wont really use it, i will depend on my ipad papago/waze..

6. Seat - consider not so comfort, feel quite solid.. if able to make it softer a bit will be nicer.. but good things is not leather seat, will feel very hot.

Overall, quite like my preve turbo.. just feel sad that i have to buy a new tyre for it after 10 days usage.. very wasted.. for me, if the person not so care about the fuel consumption, i will guarantee recommend this car in this price range.. but if people want better fc, definitely this is not the first choice. so far dont have major problem on my car *touchwood* hopefully dont have in future too..
