My Preve LE has scraped the ground numerous times. Some slopes were clearly known to be too steep, I totally stopped the car but as I inch forward, I hear the scraping sound, I move another inch forward, continuous scraping sound.

Scrapped my front right rim while driving thru McDonald drive thru. Like this, next month can change all 4 rims to new one la

btw, my friend told me that this Preve's doors (included passenger's side) can be opened by 2 times of the handle even the all doors have been locked previously. Is it true? sounds like dangerous if fetching children at the back...

Hi guys, anyone could help for follows question?

1. My car has no any warning sound while I turn to reverse gear, is it normal?
Only got beep sound while sensor detect any object close to bumper.

2. Last Tuesday I claim disc brake warranty since got helicopter sound. After that I found there's vibration while drive at 120KM/H, it should be balancing issue right?
Will changing disc brake cause this issue?
If do so, any chance that I could claim free balancing service?

3. The free service voucher, can use for EO only? I think I got extra since I seldom use the car, don't think can finish all the voucher within 36 months. Wonder could I use it for such balancing, alignment or any others jobs.

My is 2014 ANCAP Manual Version, mileage 2.5k, 1 month car.

Is yours with the Turbo engine. The engine of my car had shut down several times already during reverse parking, about 3 to 4 times. My car is about 1 year 1 month old now. Usually when reversing up slopes, but on one occasion it was on a flat road and still the engine shut down.

huhu .. just got my ride. Silver, CFE model.  even though book late last month but registered early this month. so manage to get RM5k rebate + extra from dealer.

Just wanted to check if it is worth it to buy the R3 bodykit for Preve? I have been quoted RM2k for the bodykit by a dealer.

Expensive.. Now R3 having promotion.. its less than 1.2k with installation in COSE and mutiara damansara branch..

Just sharing what I gathered from WeCare this morning.

I went for my 1000 km service last week. Told that I could not top up to get Synthium. I paid for Synthium and got the Mach 5 home. Pissed off while at the SC. Called WeCare this morning. Learnt that Proton's current SOP is, topping up is not allowed, have to pay for Synthium and customer gets the unused Mach 5. STUPXX policy especially when the customer has no use for the Mach 5. Ironic when one pays so much for the car and now the disallowed top-up is adding acid to injury! All for just RM81! I heard that SC don't do the $ top up as the free service states Mach 5 and they cannot get around this in the computer system. What they take out from the stock is not the same as what is reported in the computer system.

Some friends here reported $ top up is allowed at their SC. I think the manager there is very nice, taking the trouble to bypass this by buying the Mach 5 for himself ( Mach 5 & Synthium withdrawals from the stock, customer pays for 190-80 = 110 and manager pays the remaining 80).

WeCare lady suggested that I write in on this and she will pass it on for their review etc etc.
