Actually good way if able to install ownself right..can save cost because some work what contractor does also consider simple and easy..just need have 1st start off and once u experience and "feel", you will know what to do after that and soon others can be take up handyman freelance.. hmm.gif

Yea you pay that RM50 to contractor, then in future if there's any issue you also don't know how to solve. If you install on your own, then you can also fix in future. But things with electrical hv to be extra careful smile.gif

Hahaha, yes indeed. Most of the things I've already tried my best to list down on the front page, but I guess most of them might hv skipped.

because not everybody reads or check into LYN everyday. when we do pick up a thread to read, it would be the last page and it takes time to read from page one to the last post.
sometimes when one directs by providing post number, say post 266, one has to go search page by page for that particular post. quite troublesome.

anyway, thanks again for replying my questions. really appreciate that.

Do you change the distribution box ?

Ya is good to install and fix the things myself, can save money and you learn how to do it .. It is not difficult after see the contractor did some of the works, light points, plumbing and etc..they have the right tools that they can do it easily and quickly.

Hi there! Great sharing for all future homeowners to take note off.

Just wondering, how's the hanging dish rack working for you (or anyone else with similar item)?

My concerns are:-

1) Water dripping onto the counter (which is not big a deal) or flow against the wall which may leave stains.
2) Dish rack going rusty and would be difficult to replace.
3) Rust water dripping on to the counter and walls!

I want to do it because it opens up work space on the kitchen, but the thought of rust stains is scary blink.gif

1. The dish rack comes with a dripped tray that's easily removed and to pour the excess water away, so there won't be any dripping directly to the sink below. Unless you flood the thing shocking.gif

2. Dish rack supposed to be stainless steel, shouldn't rust that easily maybe over span of many many years. Easily replaced because just screwed on, and just buy another same size one. Comes pretty standard in fact.

3. Hmm, as per above shouldn't rust that easily bcos that's stainless steel. I have the almost same bar but bought from ikea called Huggad about 2 years ago with hooks, no sign of being rusty at all despite the constant washing.

If really turns rusty then I can just remove the whole thing and replace with something else in future perhaps?
