Stable rom is more stable with lesser issue, while dev rom is much more improved but with bugs.

You have to put +6 at the front of the contact number and save it.

If you have Google Search installed and don't see the search box, just go to the widget list (hold the empty space on a page then tap widget) and pull it out from there.

Raw mode is one of the sales point for MI3..

There's kitkat for stable rom already, thought it's China rom. Still usable.

It don't require root access to flash a developer rom. You just need to flash it on your phone and it'll work like stable rom. Differences between the both? You get weekly updates, you'll get to experience the latest features, but there's bug here and there on the developer rom. There's no google apps in developer rom too, but can easily installed by downloading from the MiMarket.

Mi3 Malaysia official site did mention the Raw mode function in the first place. But it was removed after the sales began. That's why Thomas accused them for cheating.

This raw mode is it software or hardware oriented....if software, maybe later rom version update, will fix it...

Btw, for users who stick to the MY stable rom, did you know that when you use stock browser, the google homepage is SG version instead of MY version? It makes me think that the MY rom is actually completely based on SG rom, with some minor changes.

Not a big deal though. Just feel a bit "frustrated" because it should show the MY version since I am a Malaysian who bought it from Xiaomi Malaysia. ;p

It's software. But if it's something needed to be done on in the kernel level then even developer can't do anything about it.

what is not responsive? i experienced once where the piston button not responsive. reboot the phone fix it.

Not most, but popular apps is there. All of it is free and in Chinese language. You can install google Playstore on your phone if you don't wish to use the MiStore.
