QUOTE(xIAoGhostZ @ Jul 12 2014, 04:13 PM) I choose the fully yellow screen as for the best of the worst case. Haiz. Hopefully this is a cm11 issue and they will release update to fix this soon. you can actually calibrate the colours under settings. As long as there is no uneven colour it's okThis post has been edited by DannyOP: Jul 12 2014, 04:17 PM |

Have to be careful that the full yellow is not a camouflage to hide the yellow tint at the bottom also. You will only know when the colour is calibrated back to white. If you notice then there is a yellow tint then better send for warranty. I personally think it's an attempt by Oneplus to reduce warranty returns and cut down their losses.

QUOTE(xIAoGhostZ @ Jul 12 2014, 04:22 PM) Never mind la. Just live with it. Btw the LCD warranty is 3 months time. So I still got some time to test. Yea first few days just set to full white leave it for 2-5 hours or run looping videos overnight to make the glue dry faster. I do notice on my 1st unit that the yellow starts to dissapear after awhile. Lets hope it's the same for all units. |

QUOTE(plateau @ Jul 13 2014, 01:58 AM) After using the latest snapshot release cyanogen 4.4.4, i reflashed back to cm11s 25r because :- cm11s is not as stable as it says, still got random reboots, I tried Paranoid Andriod 4.4.4 stable as a rock, however you gain some lose some. Antutu scores normally higher on stable versions because it is odexed.- camera didn't have the swipe to change modes. I like the swiping to change cause it's much more convenient to change from auto to hdr etc. I think that it might be include in the stable release. - For some reason antutu was giving me lower scores with 4.4.4. Hit around 35k here whereas I'm getting around 38k with cm11s 25r. Yea I know that benchmarks isn't everything but the higher score still accounts for something. - battery life seems about the same for me. Might have to test further for more solid results as i only used it for a day. - custom cyanogen lock screen not included in the snapshot release yet. Based on these reasons I've decided to use cm11s 25r stable release. Not sure of the improvements via nightly cm roms so maybe some of the issues I mentioned are already fixed? Will try Mahdi rom now, just became available for Oneplus One. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Jul 13 2014, 03:54 AM |

QUOTE(plateau @ Jul 13 2014, 03:00 PM) How's the performance? antutu just for reference. Also how was PA rom? antutu scores also if possible lol Antutu scores do not equate performance as Nexus 5 with low scores also faster than any phone now in terms of app speed and smoothness. and notice any improvements in battery life? Cm11s 38k, PA 35k score. |

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Jul 13 2014, 11:27 PM) Dammit. Just found out OnePlus One DOES NOT have MHL. Had my PS3 controller connected, Asphalt 8 running, plugged MHL cable in and... nothing It's ok just sell it cheap to me I don't mind as I don't play games. The "Never Settle" tagline smells like bullsh*t at this point. |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jul 14 2014, 12:35 AM) yes I notice they delete the posts relating to yellow tint, sad.. how are they going to win over customers like this? Moral of the story is pay a little bit to check yellow tint before buying. Don't buy from those who refuse to let u test. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Jul 14 2014, 12:46 AM |

QUOTE(replicator @ Jul 14 2014, 10:19 PM) Haha. Pity you. U can get it from the rom I posted one or two pages back, it already comes with Franco kernel and Cm11 with all the CM11s goodies.Btw, anyone know how to get flashable zip file for stock CM11S kernel? I'm going to flash to franco. In case shit happen, I can fallback to stock kernel. Can only get about 4 hours screen on time. Why my battery drain so fastĀ This post has been edited by DannyOP: Jul 14 2014, 10:45 PM |
