I don't think they're giving away the train set again. That was the 2014 set.

They have a new set every year if I'm not mistaken.

I'll definitely make tons of pictures if I get to be there. Keeping my fingers crossed.

It's a 3 day event to have an exclusive inside look at the birthplace of Lego, the design process, manufacturing process, many activities, interaction with Lego employees and behind the scenes look at Legoland. There will also be a very limited Lego set giveaway for every participant with a picture of the tour members on the box.

I'm personally very interested in the manufacturing process and history of Lego.

What do you mean by reasonable?

I think in Malaysia it's about RM850-900.

If you willing to wait, I can get one in Germany. But then, have to post to you so might not be too economical.

Stopped by the neighbourhood drugstore with the missus last evening. Good thing Minifigure Series 12 here is still at the old price of EUR2.49.

Was looking for The Jester, The video game guy and the wizard and got all 3 in 10 minutes with the help of the missus.

However, my jester figure didn't have the problem you have. Maybe it's an isolated case? Or different batch for EU figs?

I was with the missus on our normal Saturday shopping when we "stumbled" upon an offer at our local shopping mall. Buy 3 toys and get 15% off.

My missus obliged in feeling up some CMF 12 figs to complete our collection. We needed 13 more. All I can say was our hit rate is now 100%.



All in, I managed to knock off another 10% with my loyalty card and got less than EUR2 per minifig. Great day.



I also took some photos and videos of our local LUG having a flea market and small Lego exhibit. Will post them up soon.

Only Europe is still at the old price of EU2.49.

Seems like revenge from Europe since other toys and goods usually EURO price is 1USD=1EUR but now since Lego is a European company they increase the USD prices. Also EU is weakening so Lego is really making lots of money. Little wonder they surpassed Mattel in terms of sales revenue. Furthermore, Malaysia usually gets the short end of the stick because of import costs and inefficient logistics.

Syukur Malaysia masih aman, I guess.

Good news for fans in Malaysia. Hope there will be S@H, VIP points and promos, exclusive gifts and much more for you all! An official LEGO Store must be in planning, if they are to be serious in leveraging the demand of LEGO in ASEAN.

Guys, prepare your wallet and go get pre-approval from your Finance Ministers.

Man, it is these kind of times where I hope LEGO was a public company.

If they set up the official online Lego shop, it will definitely be in local currency.

Xmas presents bought and got a free gift for myself.

Yup.

Especially with double VIP points, discounts on toys, I couldn't resist.

If too late, the xmas rush happens, then demand will be higher than supply, will cause fewer discounts to happen.

I guess October is usually the slower month for toys.

I can't remember how many Lego sets I bought this month already to take advantage of the discounts from 15%-25%.

I just got this email from Lego reminding about the Inside Tour. Can get VIP points if buying the tickets!

So that's 5% off effectively. I am so looking forward to this. And after the tour there is a Magic:The Gathering GP at Copenhagen which I plan to participate too. What a week. I really hope I can make it there.

I still need to register and cross my fingers.

But succeeded in convincing the missus that the cost is justified as we have never been to Denmark. So I will make it as our summer vacation next year.
