It is protruding.

Seems like they are very confident with sapphire.

What I scare is the edges, not the main lens.

Yeah, but anyway, I read the reason is so we can easily attach external or third party lenses to the camera.

But it's not the first time. iPod Touch 5 also has a protruding camera.

If can attach third party lens, I don't mind the protruding camera lol

apparently sapphire glass is not tough, even though it's scratch resistant.
