Never heard of yellow tint issue with honor 6, but oneplus one is indeed a known issue.

Anyway you could order yourself since the FDD version already available for sell. There just a flash sales earlier at 8pm tonight.

I currently waiting for my Z7 Max to arrive only.

From specs available on the internet so far, Honor 6 only supports B1 and B3 FDD-LTE bands. Ie 1800 and 2100MHz. And 2500MHz for TDD-LTE (B41).

Maxis & Celcom FDD-LTE is on 1800 (B1) and 2600 (B7), but DiGi and Umobile as far as I know are only on 2600 (B7).

So you guys who are on DiGi/Umobile may want to check properly first before buying this. Or maybe just buy and test.. then let me know if it works brows.gif

I think I will buy it anyway and then switch to Maxis if DiGi LTE band not supported. What's important for me is actually the Dual-SIM support. And NFC is available in the 32GB version (H60-L12 model). Was considering Nubia Z7 also.. Can't remember what made me decide to go for Honor 6. Will check out the display units this weekend to see how it feels in the hand... and whether black or white is better biggrin.gif

The major difference of snapdragon 800/801 is more on the emmc 5.0 support and the slight higher clock gpu only, others wise they are basically the same. That slight difference on cpu speed wont impact your daily usage, which unless you buy the phone majorly for running benchmarks only.

Also mini offer a much user friendly pricing, which is same as Mi3 at only 1500 rmb, and provide a much better features as compare to mi3, dual sim dual 4g support, micro sd support, a better camera sensor imx 214.

Mi3 is just using the MSM8274AA/AB rev 2 snapdragon 800, which is limited only to wcdma network, unlike the MSM8974AB that on other bigger brand like LG G2 or Note 3, which capable provide 4G support. The same situation is most likely the same on Mi4 , which current release only limited to WCDMA network, in which I assumed it uses MSM8274AC 801.  The CDMA version would most likely on the MSM8674AC, where only the TD LTE version in September will use MSM8974AC I guess.

There's some benchmark published out there testing the difference between eMMC4.5 and eMMC5.0 and it's not that significant. Users won't find any noticeable difference in normal uses since both are fast enough already.
The CPU difference is negligible, but the GPU isn't. You'll find noticeable difference between Mi3 and Z7 Mini in GPU-intensive games at high settings.

4G isn't really that important in Malaysia right now imo, since our "quota" or "cost per GB"is still 3G-standard. Having 4G LTE dual-sim dual-standby on such a small 2300 mAh battery is a terrible option that I wouldn't consider too.

It still comes down to user's own preference between Mi3's powerful performance, battery life and better developed stock ROM vs Nubia Z7 Mini's expandable storage, dual-sim 4G LTE, and better camera.

Also, the difference in performance in both CPU and GPU between Nubia Z7 Mini and XiaoMi Mi4 will be very noticeable. The Z7 Max is more suitable as a competitor to Mi4.

Z7 series will have a broader network band supports, and both sim support 4G, unlike honor 6 only on sim 1. Honor 6 has a slimmer design though

If the problem is so terrible like oneplus, its already being bombard all over honor weibo and 花粉俱樂部 already.

Personally I dont think that 100 mhz difference in gpu will make a hell lot difference though, as even on those so call graphic intensive games like asphalt series. To me having a dual sim dual standby is a good feature, especially for those which travel between different countries. Given a 3g phone or 4g phone at the same price, I pick the 4g version anytime. And for 4g usage, imo its more depending on where you located and your carrier coverage.
I dont deny that having a bigger battery size is a plus nowadays, but phone can be easily charge everywhere now through pc, car charger, powerbank and etc which make it a much less important issue anymore, especially considering the price of the device.

I never said mini is meant for competing against Mi4, since pricing is already a different level. Max is more a proper comparison. Its more targeted those which want a smaller phone and pay less but still get decent good performance from it.

Look at the numbers of those that complain got the so called yellow tint lor, as I said very minor, if its a 90% kena issue, already complain everywhere at various forum lor. Total of 45 replies, and how many units sold, minimum at least 100k+ I guess.

I suppose there will be no Google services pre-installed? So is it possible to install the necessary Google Services ourselves?

Even if its launched locally, it may not be the DUAL SIM model. Honor 6 has single SIM models as well.
