2nd battery (Delkor used for 6 months only) kong 2 days ago. Called Century delivery to change @ RM335. The installer notice my battery terminal rusted and advise me to change, as it will cause my battery not connect properly.

And this morning, i have to turn my car key twice to start up the engine. Called to CSL service centre and they quote RM2999 to change terminal with cable.

Anyone have the same issue?

Wondering whether the battery terminal is under warranty? My 408T just 1 year 3 months.

Normal service every centre shud be okay. But when it comes to warranty issue, they will pass you around like a ball.

Yes bro, becoz the terminal comes together with the cable system. So they must change the whole thing. Anyone battery terminal also rusted?

Just come back from CSL service center.

Very nice & helpful technician, Sam, remove my newly changed Century battery and notice that previous battery "Delkor (2nd battery, warranty from CSL)" caused corrosion to battery tray and some other parts due to acid leakage.

They will have to change whatever is damaged, which required me to leave my car there for weeks.

The best part is there's one guy named Mr.Wong, say i should have keep my old battery as they will need it as evidence to get approval for warranty. I was like what??! How i know? and why should i keep it? got better resell value? Can use it as decoration for my home?!

Okay, then i have to call Century battery hoping that they still have my old Delkor battery with them, but i was informed that recycle lorry collect battery by daily basis.... gosh!!

Finger crossed and hope that they manage to claim my warranty even without my old battery as evidence...
But i still don't get it, is it normal for u guys to keep your old battery when u change to a new one??
