every month pay minimum...no late charges but the monthly interest will make bank earn more money from you. unless of course all your card usage are on those 0% interest items.

use CC buy 10K PRV from europe... pay minimum for 3months from buying point, manufacture, delivery, then sell PRV for 20k..

so 3 mths use 10k from CC + 3 mths cc interest, = around 100% ROI..

yes Current Events guy, this is the path to financial freedom
people condemn you as slave of banks because they are jealous of you!!
they have very low credit limit so they dengki of you

cash out as much as you can from your credit card and only pay minimum payment okay? don't worry, your CCRIS record will be clean if you pay minimum.

then use that money to invest in Cari Gold or Arowana ventures. Profit!

18% vs 38% returns from your business ventures. Doesn't take a genius to figure out right?

that time they said the condition why this card 1st year have to pay anual fee was the high enrich points given during that promotion period.. so i decide to use it , enrich my enrich card, then cancel before the 1year is up.. biggrin.gif

anyway, after cancel, they called me back n put me with the infinite visa which can waive anual fee.. so no complaints there..

diff pipu diff style. for me i hate going thru the hassle of calling to cancel the card and for them to call back one month later to beg you with another offer (waste time) if you really like your current card and design you just wait for them to charge the annual first and then call your RM and ask why got annual fees?
she sure say oh it is nothing, and the line item is removed edi.

so stupiak,
always pay last statement balance

the current outstanding includes amount that is not due yet.
why you so rajin pay back credit that is within interest free period (belum cukup bulan amount)

might as well take the money out go cheong!

Pay current outstanding helps control people to not use money that they don't have.

Banks love those ppl who pay minimum monthly. They will give you lots of hugs and kisses. wub.gif

The most ironic thing is then you also become a bad paymaster and in future hard to apply for temporary credit increase, waivers, etc, and get a bad credit rating if you want to take loans next time.

This is what I thought.

Just pay the statement balance, not the outstanding balance.

Never ever pay minimum payment. If your minimum is $50, pay at least $150. Think about the interest charges and the delay you push.

If you pay the full amount aka in statement balance , then nothing. You get to keep your 20 days interest free period

If you decided to pay minimum , this is how interest is calculated , lets say it is 18 p.a (which means 1.5% per month)

So lets say you bought sex doll from Japan new computer which costs RM 3000 ,

Minimum payment would be like RM 50 , but then you don't have RM 3000 to fully pay , so you pay minimum (which I DO NOT recommend). Instead you pay RM 1500 , do half settlement

This how the bank calculates the interest

Outstanding balance from last month + new purchases made * the interest rate

So if you do not use for the next month the card , aka don't swipe then the interest will occur only on the outstanding payment

this what causes snowball effect

Yep this is true , if the minimum is RM 50 , make sure you pay at least 50% , even tho you cannot settle 100% . It's okay , less interest will occur , so you do not feel the pinch

Banks like people who do minimum/half payment , for them , they can make good money out of you. That's why bank will offer you balance transfer la , additional credit card la
