QUOTE(owenwong84 @ Feb 29 2016, 02:02 AM) If there is aircon mold stick on the metal fin, how to remove it? It become harden even vacuum and brush cannot remove. I'm using a stiff brush, if it doesn't clean well, perhaps it's time to call in Aircon servicing. This post has been edited by Xccess: Feb 29 2016, 05:46 PM

QUOTE(kamulee @ Jul 6 2016, 02:49 PM) Bro, i like this one. i believe all of you shared the experience and information will be great and benefit to all of us. @wz3k , you mean buy foam type will be good to use and clean? Which part of the aircon are you trying to clean? the external compressor or internal unit? For internal unit, are you able to remove the exterior plastic cover? If not, perhaps try source for video instruction on youtube or watch how your aircon repairman do it next time. By remove exterior cover, it's easier to wash and clean the cooling fins, spraying foam and brushing it with a fine toothbrush will be more effective.

Anyone managed to buy foaming coil cleaner solution used by repairman? Please keep us posted.
Currently using Mr. Muscle (mold and mildew). Very effective in clearing dirty cooling coil but still keeping a lookout for foam solution.

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jun 11 2017, 12:03 PM) Much appreciated. Do you happened to know the name? It's foaming chemical where we need to mix with water or spray can?
