weather effect in dota2 is neatly done~ but i still prefer every1 can see the weather instead to holder only~ mayb valve can do is the weather is rotate randomly during game depends on the weather equiped on the 10 player... maybe 1 weather equiped last 3-4 minutes and loop

Lol please dont do that... Im sure more effects will be available in the future and I dont want those annoying effects keep coming out randomly spoiling the game environment... Like Dota 1, the snow effect is very annoying if i remember correctly... Still prefer the original or minimalistic effect

the snow weather is kinda tonedown~ doesnt effect much compare to the snow effect in dota1

i think the best way is still make it work like HUD / announcer. player equip it and other players can choose whatever they want.
you can't force someone with low graphic computers to equip even more effects

Err, no. I was getting good frame rates when D2 was launched but since the latest GUI patch (the one with the loadout changes), I'm struggling to get even 60fps. With added effects, this number goes down even more. If Valve jacked up the requirements to double your PC specs overnight, how would you feel?

One of the major concerns that Valve first addressed when they launched the beta was system requirements, and for good reason - cybercafes would not have picked up the product if it didn't already run on existing hardware. I'm hoping that after TI, Valve will do another performance boost patch like they did last year (or was it early this year, I can't remember). Word is that Source 2 can provide better graphics and performance bonuses over the existing engine, and minimal coding is required to port over the game.

problem is i want to sell the same things in a huge amount in the community market (hence from my inventory in google chrome). whenever i search for the item, sold one, the inventory refresh and I'm back to the page 1
