I might be joining APU on June intake,
-I want to ask how many students are taking Banking and Finance?
-what is the average number of students in the class? (a big lecture hall or in small groups?)
-Do you guys accept Foundation In Arts Pre-U qualification from different unis to enter your degree programs?
-Do you guys have a gym?
-When will the construction of the new campus be completed?
-Is the bus shuttle service FOC?
-I noticed you guys offer many types of specialism in Banking&Finance, so let's say my friend and I are taking Banking & Finance in APU but with different specialism. Would I be in the same class with him or will we be separated?

Hi Benji,

Thank you for putting APU in your consideration. For all modules, there will be a lecture class and a tutorial and/or lab class. The lecture class will have up to 100 students per class, whereas tutorial / lab classes will have up to 30 students per class.

We do accept Foundation from other universities, however it depends on your results and the compatibility with our Degree programmes. You may submit your results to us for evaluation prior to your registration.

Currently we do not have a gym on-campus, but you may use the gym facilities located in our off-campus accommodation, if you are staying in our accommodation. Our new campus is expected to be ready by end of 2015, and we are expecting more facilities for students by then. Free shuttle buses are provided to all APU students to and from the Bukit Jalil LRT station.

Different specialisms of Banking and Finance will still have some common modules, however, when it comes to specialised modules, you and your friend will be separated according to your specialisms.

As long as you have not paid the accommodation booking fee, you may cancel the accommodation booking. Please PM us your Full Name and IC Number so that we can perform the cancellation.

I would like to ask the below:

I graduated with APIIT Diploma in Computing and IT in year 2000. Can I continue to 2nd year/Higher Diploma studies at APU ?

Do I need to take some subjects and sit for exams before taking up 2nd year course ? Since there is no more Higher Diploma certificate issued, what is the point I take up 2nd year when I already have Diploma certificate from aPIIT ?

Thank you for your enquiry. As per your current qualification, you may be eligible to Year 2 of our Undergraduate Degree programmes under our School of Computing and Technology. However, the entry may be subject to your results in your Diploma, as well as the Undergraduate Degree which you wish to undertake.

May I know your new campus building is already done or still constructing?

Hi, I would like to know what is the difference between Apu and Apiit. Are both of them a different campus? Also, I'm interested in studying computer science. Can you tell me which diploma or foundation should I choose in order to study that course?
