Hi, I would like to know what is the difference between Apu and Apiit. Are both of them a different campus? Also, I'm interested in studying computer science. Can you tell me which diploma or foundation should I choose in order to study that course?
*
Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry. APU is a full-fledged university which runs Dual Award programmes under the collaboration with Staffordshire University and APU Award programmes in Engineering programmes, whereas APIIT runs UK 3+0 Staffordshire University degrees in the fields of Design, Animation, Business Computing and more.

Both APU and APIIT are under the APIIT Education Group and are located at our current campus in Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil.

If you are interested in Computer Science, you may either enter our Foundation Programme with 5 Credits in SPM including Maths and a pass in Sejarah, BM and English, or you may choose Diploma in Information & Communications Technology with specialism in Software Engineering, which requires 3 Credits in SPM including Maths and a pass in BM, Sejarah and English.

Both Foundation and Diploma will lead you to our BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and you will be entitled to the Dual Award upon graduation.

If you have any more enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Have a nice day!

Hi,

During weekdays, we provide free shuttle buses to and from the Bukit Jalil LRT Station and our campus. Just keep an eye of our blue buses and you may hop on to reach our campus in 15 minutes smile.gif

During weekends, shuttle services are provided upon request when we are having Open Day in our campus. You may call our number, 03-8996 1000 to request for a shuttle service if you would like to visit the campus on our Open Day.

Hi,

PTPTN loan only covers a maximum of RM13,600 per year for Degree programmes, and RM6,800 per year for Diploma programmes. The amount of loan entitled will depend on your household income bracket.

The March intake will be on 30 March 2015 for Diploma and Foundation programmes.

If you have any more enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Have a nice day!

Just inquiring. May I know when are the Summer breaks if I were to enroll for a course in BSc Software Engineering September Intake? For this year. When will the final Exam commence and when will our Summer break start. Is it on the July until August? Or June to July. Because a friend is planning to visit this summer holidays on the July. Just wanting to confirm as it might be inconvenient for us if he were to come during our schooling time.

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry. It depends on which degree you intend to apply, as well as the entry qualifications that you currently have. For entry from Diploma and STPM, MUET is required.

If you have any more inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Have a nice day!

If I already completed my diploma at other university, and going to continue my degree of software engineering at APU, does the MUET required? Just want to confirm because when I check the entry requirement for software engineering, the English requirement is only applicable for international student..

Hi, if you intend to continue the BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering degree, MUET is not a compulsory requirement. However, if you have MUET qualification, you may submit together with your application documents as well, for evaluation.

If you would like to apply, please fill in your details and submit your online application here: http://www.apu.edu.my/webform/apply-now

Hi APU students,
Do you have the academic calendar for 2016/2017? I plan to take the Masters program commencing 26th Sept but I would like to see the exact dates of when the semester starts/ends and when the holidays are. The APU website only states the Xmas to 8th Jan holidays..

Thanks!
