Hi guys, may I know why is the poker 2 keyboard type more crispier compared to my deck hassium ?

thinking of trying mechanical keyboard but trying to keep as budget as possible......

trying to keep near 100 but i know is impossible.....can recommed the cheapest...doesn't need to be full keyboard...

I dont mind going for a full custom if i can get the exact same feel as the deck. if i spent for it and i cannot get that feeling, trust me, its going to be put up in the sales thread almost immediately. the other one that came close to the feel of the deck is the maxkeyboard nighthawk x7 which is sleeping right now in the cupboard.

recently bought a ducky zero shine, blue switch, yellow body, korean version

this is my first ducky, previously I use Daskeyboard, and more previously i use razer blackwidow

I want to say, the quality of ducky zero shine is not very good, maybe because it is made in china.

1) not every key sounds the same when pressed, some are more clicky, some are less
2) the spacebar is not clicky at all, very mushy
  2.1) the seller explains that it is because the key is big while the switch is small, that's why
  2.2) but when I test his demo unit in his shop, the spacebar very clicky, so... his explanation above does not sounds valid...
Overall I would rate ducky similar to razer, while Daskeyboard still the best quality.
This is only based on the ducky zero shine which is made in china, not applicable to the ducky shine 3 which is made in taiwan

Going to Japan in 2 weeks time.. Is it cheaper to buy Filcos there? Or should I just order one online? I have been thinking about buying for sooo long but still haven't make the jump.

So, I might end up buying the novatouch TKL, then putting it in a shiny new brushed/anodized blue-grey alu case, change the caps to the upcoming midnight SA groupbuy, then I'll finally have something I REALLY like.

That or DSA profile... I have this fetish for flat caps.

I recently read that the stems on the novatouch can easily swap with the hhkb. That means!!!

Hehe, big fan of DSA keycaps (Dolch ftw as always) but I really like typing on the thick Poker II PBT keycaps now. As much as I like how DSA Dolch looks, I'd rather have better typing experience hence I'm temporarily retiring my DSA keycaps.

My ideal keycaps setup would be Poker II PBT/Cherry profile keycaps with Signature Plastic's font in Dolch colour scheme. One can dream, right?

That ducky looks beautiful. I was planning to get a white blanks too but scared that it might become dirty fast. Also, is there a seller in Taobao that sell this kind of set that have 2 colours http://imgur.com/a/eTr6U ? All I saw is either a same full colour or just a tacky rainbow mix colour
