No, this phone's pretty durable. Can rely on, but don't slip it purposely.

Whatever it is, avoid dropping it. And if your dad puts his keys, or any other hard objects and the phone in the same pocket, might as well include a crystal case with it.

Well as with all SE phones, memorize this code >*<<*<* and check the service test total call time on your phone before buying. The > and < refers to the fast forward and reverse button on the joystick.

i wonder y this fone is not as 'hot' as other SE fones?
IMO, this fone is great and compared to k610, it has better design n best of all, the price is just slightly more expensive but u get a stereo earphone and also 256MB m2 card..

if u can fork out that amount of money getting midland set is a yes though i am using AP set. As for firmware, u can easily update it later if it is not the latest one installed. Another thing is the SE special key (*>*<<*<*), under service test check for the total call time, if it is new fone it shld b all zero. Other than that need some advice from those pro smile.gif

Sometimes, under the service test, it won't be zero because some of the unit has been tested during the production or so on.
But the minutes of total call time in there should be less then 10 minutes or so.

How much is an ap set? If its a few hundred less and a reputable AP company thats pretty near where you live, its ok...and I'm not talking about those one-store only warranty that can be here and gone tomorrow.
