i wonder y this fone is not as 'hot' as other SE fones?
IMO, this fone is great and compared to k610, it has better design n best of all, the price is just slightly more expensive but u get a stereo earphone and also 256MB m2 card..

though it doesnt have auto focus, the k610 also doesnt have but it seems that k610 is more popular than this fone??

if u can fork out that amount of money getting midland set is a yes though i am using AP set. As for firmware, u can easily update it later if it is not the latest one installed. Another thing is the SE special key (*>*<<*<*), under service test check for the total call time, if it is new fone it shld b all zero. Other than that need some advice from those pro

i got mine for RM750 which warranty from telstra..so it still depends on individual, if u think wanna be safe and have a peace of mind then get the midland set..for me, i would go for budget so end up getting the AP set

quite a good buy i could say as the new midland set is around 1k..hopefully all the things are in good conditions..congrats on ur new fone

the down side should be the camera as it doesnt have auto focus
the sound quality is good and its loud enough
the pics if taken under good lighting condition are ok if under low light condition will have lots of noise

btw, if it is not the latest firmware, u can update it as the latest firmware i found it to be better esp at the animation of the wallpaper, smoother compare to older firmware

no such prob with my k618..clearly shown k618 as the model and no prob at all as what u claimed, better send for checking, mayb there are not just firmware but hardware prob

for me each day i use around 10-15 minutes of calls, few sms, 30mins of songs, 5 mins of games, it can last for 3 to 4 days. The phone is on 24 hours

it does hv lights, no prob when typing during the night

zoom can only be done in VGA size which is 640*480 reso..using 2MP n 1MP users cant use the zoom function
